Hey boys--was just thinking: for our workshop I think it might be nice (since our style is so relationship-centric) to focus on strong relationships in scene work? Thoughts?

I agree.  Thom, I haven't Mixed before.  There's not a ton of time to coach, right?  What is likely to be successful?  A little warm-up and a simple form?

Tell us about it :)

Yes, the actual coaching is probably 5 minutes. They would like us to coach the workshop before the mixer though which is 30 min.

We can try something like, protect the freak, or sow thing that had implied relationships? We can discuss at 'bucks before our show on Monday.

Im still a bit confused on what the mixer is? Can you explain how the whole night works again?

Thanks!

Sure!

So the first 30 min is optional, folks can come and it's a workshop with a veteran performer (us that week) and we basically teach something and then let the Poole who showed up try it out. Sometimes there are a ton of people, sometimes not.

After that, the real mixer begins. Everyone who wants to play shows up, pays and gets a raffle ticket with their names written on it. Everyone sits down the host introduces us, and then we come out and read off the raffle tickets we were given and then that is our team.

There is some thing where we play Rock Paper Scissors, to see whose team goes first. Idk.

So we literally have like 5 minutes to introduce everyone, introduce a form, and warm them up. It's very fast paces, but if you make everyone feel like a winner it's goes very well.

This is a lot. Sorry if it doesn't make sense.
