Yrs of experiene : 3-5yrs
Job description
* B.E/B.Tech/MCA with 3+ years of experience in printer firmware testing especially in TCP/IP networking / security testing. Experience with HP printers is desirable.
* Hands on experience in at least 2 of the networking/security protocols listed below:
* Networking protocols - TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, IPv6, IPv4, SNMP, Wi-Fi - 802.11n etc.
* Security protocols- IPSec, IKEv1, IKEv2, SSL, encryption/hashing algorithms, 802.1x etc.
* Hand on experience in testing the web user interface, printer front panel, network print -P9100, LPD, web services print, IPP, FTP etc.
* Very good understanding of test life cycles and different test methodologies
* Should have worked in component/system/solution level testing
* Experience in both functional and non functional (Performance, Scalability, Reliability etc.) testing
* Expertise in using Quality Center/ALM ( or any similar tool) for test management, requirement traceability and defect management
* Should be a fast learner and should be able to ramp up and be productive in 30 days
* Should be flexible to move across different teams based on the requirements
* Should have excellent communication skills
Note :
1) Candidates who can join within 15 are preferred
2) This will be under permanent employment with TEKsystems and deputed to our Client HP,Bangalore.
