Strange behavior:  I physically disconnected from PICO2W with old Thony v 1.01 and after 3,5 hour pico stops running program, rather say block it with "KeyboardInterrupt: ..." message and then block Watchdog timer which has to hard restart Pico after 8seconds nod feeding him! So it stays really low level frozen for strange reason. First time. Business impact;( So update Thony and newer again left production just disconnecting from running program started from Thony (hard reset prefer).

Has anyone similar experience?

How are you powering the PICO? If using the same USB connection as that for connecting Thonny then the PICO has to power cycle when you plug in the separate power USB. If true, Thonny has nothing to do with this and it's a uPython issue

"...rather say block it with "KeyboardInterrupt: ..." message and then block Watchdog timer which has to hard restart Pico after 8seconds nod feeding him!"

Are these errors you are anticipating or are actually seeing? In my own PICO scripts, I write to a log file. If it exists in error I rename it to a error file so I don't lose the reason for aborting. I do this since a new log file is created each time. I did not name them uniquely because I didn't want the log files to take up too much and didn't want to have to deal with purging. Renaming to the error file name at least gives me the reason for the last error exit.
