Hello!
I'm programming since 1972,
but I'm new to Python and Thonny,
wich I have to master becoause I have to teach it.
So first I try to look at some examples on the web,
and so I have to install some packages.
With Thonny 4.1.7 it worked.
I tried is on a handful of computers.
Mostly it works.
On one of them I get a message as soon as I select an object.
"Could
not find the package info from PyPI. Error code: <urlopen error
[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to
get local issuer certificate (_ssl.c:1007)>"
This computer (Microsoft Surface Pro 11th Edition) has an ARM CPU.
Any ideas?
