Hi,
I want to replace my computer recently. I have my eye on Apple's new Mac Book Air with the M1 chip. Does Thonny support M1 chip now?
best regards,
Ansel.

Hi!
I don't have a M1 myself. I have one report about Thonny working nicely (
https://github.com/thonny/thonny/issues/813#issuecomment-743911385
) and one report about Thonny working at least initially (
https://github.com/thonny/thonny/issues/1686
).
Please note, that there is Intel variant of Thonny+Python bundle (
https://github.com/thonny/thonny/releases/download/v3.3.13/thonny-3.3.13.pkg
), which should be usable via Rosetta and Universal 2 variant (
https://github.com/thonny/thonny/releases/download/v3.3.10/thonny-3.3.10-alt.pkg
) which doesn't need Rosetta. If one of them is having problems, then please try the other one.
Best regards,
Aivar
