Hello I have this very serious problem, I have a raspberry pico board, I connected it to my pc with windows 10, I downloaded Thonny, but strangely, the "interpreter" tab does not appear to configure "micropython for pico" and the COM port?
On the other hand, with another windows user it works. I tried to delete all folders for this user and reinstall Thonny several times, but without success. A heartfelt thanks to those who want to help me. Yours sincerely . Paul

Do you mean that you don't see the option "MicroPython (Raspberry Pi Pico)" under "Which interpreter or device..." at "Interpreter" tab? Do you see "MicroPython (generic)"?

Please also check your Thonny version (Help => About). If you have installed different Thonny versions for this computer or you have installed older Thonny plug-ins by hand, it is possible that an older version gets picked up.

Best regards,
Aivar
