How to put shell window on the right

I would like to put the shell window on the right. It is a must for me in order to code. Something great would be like the Editing Mode in Foobar (the music player). Allows more customization.

Otherwise, I'd feel obliged to uninstall the IDE.

I am just a user of Thonny; I am not involved in its development. Still, I find statements like "otherwise, I'd feel obliged to uninstall the IDE" to be extremely disrespectful of the work that went into Thonny.

The author of Thonny does not owe you (or anyone else) anything. If Thonny does not suit your need, then don't use it. If you'd like to make suggestion for improving Thonny, at least show some respect to its author. I know many programmers that have given up writing free software because they were fed up with the entitled attitude of users. I don't want something like this to happen to Thonny.

Being respectful and polite to others is a must for me. Making a suggestion, rather than demand. Something great would be not to exhibit a sense of unjustified entitlement.

Otherwise, I'd feel obliged to think that you are incapable of correcting your post and apologizing to the person who has written this great software and generously shared it with all of us for free.

My message was misinterpreted. If I post this message in this forum it is specifically because I believe in Thonny's potential i.e. the developpers' work. It is a marvelous IDE for reasons I need not list. I nevertheless think it is a must for an IDE to be able to put the shell on a vertical column (because of the field of view, the way human perceive things with their eyes). I would love Thonny to feature this option.
Many developers I have talked thereupon concur.
I use Thonny for my job everyday. I hope this feature will be added.
