எழுத்தே ஓவியமாக; ஓவியமே எழுத்தாக சிந்து எழுத்து

 

எழுத்தே ஓவியமாக; ஓவியமே எழுத்தாக தீட்டிய அந்த கலைஞனை எத்தனை பாராட்டினாலும் தகும். இந்த ஓவியம் எந்த நாட்டில் எந்த காலத்தை சேர்ந்தது என்று இந்த பதிவர் குறிக்காமல் காணொளியாக பதிந்து விட்டார். இது ஒரு பெண் மகவு ஈனுவது போல் இருந்தாலும் அது சொல்லும் செய்தி ஈனலுக்கு உதவிய தாதியை (மருத்துவச்சியை) மன்னன்  சிறப்பித்தான் என்பதில் உள்ளது. இந்த சொற்களில் உள்ள "அன்" வெறும் சொல் ஈறே தவிர காலம், எண், பால், வேற்றுமை சுட்டாதது. இலக்கண வளர்ச்சி அந்த அளவு தான் அந்த நிலப் பகுதியில், அந்த காலத்தில் இருந்துள்ளது என்று தெரிகின்றது. இந்த "அன்" பின்னொட்டை நீக்கித் தான் ஐ, ஆல், கு, இன், அது, கண் ஆகிய ஏழு வேற்றுமை உருபு இலக்கணம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. ஆண்பால், பெண்பால், ஒன்றன் பால், பலர் பால், பலவின் பால் உருவாக்கினர். இறந்த காலம், எதிர்காலம், நிகழ்காலம் உருவாக்கினர். ஒருமை, பன்மை என்ற எண் உருவாக்கினர்.  இது சொல் இலக்கணத்தை அணி செய்தது. இனி ஓவிய எழுத்துகளை பிரித்து படிப்போம்.

 - ந, வயிறு பெரு வட்டம் - ண், குழந்தை முகம் - க, குழந்தை கையாக இரு மீன்கள் - ச்ச, வெளி வட்டம் - ன். இதில் உள்ள எழுத்துகள் இ+இ = ஈன பண்ணன் மன்னன் மச்ச நண்கச்சன் என்பது. இதை ஈன பண்ணன் மன்னன் மச்ச நங்கச்சன் என்று படிக்க வேண்டும்.

ஈன - பிரசவம்,ஈனுவித்தல், labor; பண்ணன் - மருத்துவர், மந்திரவாதி, பூசகன், ஆட்சியாளன்; மன்னன் - புகழுக்குரியவன், ஆட்சியாளன்; மச்ச - மீன்; நங்கு- நல்கு, கொடு, ஈதல், offer; அச்சன் - சிறந்த, தேர்ந்த, மேலான, expert, excellent. இதன் பொருள் மகவு ஈன உதவிய மருத்துவச்சிக்கு மன்னன் மீன் கொடுத்து சிறப்பித்தான் என்பதே.  

காலத்தால் முந்திய மச்ச என்ற சொல் வட இந்திய மொழிகளில் இன்றும் வழங்குகின்றது மல்சிய, மத்சய ஆகிய சொற்கள் தான் பின்பு ஏற்பட்ட திரிபுகள் என்பதற்கு இந்த ஓவியம் ஒரு நல்ல சான்றாகிறது அல்லோ?   அச்சன் என்பது சிறந்த என்ற பொருளில் இன்றளவும் இந்தி, உருதுவில் அச்சா, அச்சி என்று வழங்குவது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது. 

எனக்கு மூன்று நாளாக மூக்கு தான் மகரமாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று வலுவான சிந்தனை ஓட்டம் இருந்தது. இதனால் பார்க்கின்றவர் மூக்கு தான் என் கண்ணில் முன்னிலை  பெற்றது. நேற்று இந்த ஓவியத்தை பார்த்த போது  என் சிந்தனை சரி என்று ஆகிவிட்டது. இந்த ஓவியத்தில் இரண்டு இடங்களில் அவ்வாறு மகரத்திற்கு மூக்கு வரையப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது தான் intution என்பது. அதே போல நங்கச்சன்  என்பதற்கு கொடுத்து சிறப்பித்தான் என்று பொருள் intution மூலம் வந்ததே. இதனால் வடக்கே பேசப்பட்ட தமிழ் தென்னகத் தமிழை விட சற்று மாறுபட்டிருந்ததை அறிய முடிகிறது.

These offerings often depicted fish hanging from a cord, symbolizing gratitude for sustenance in arid landscapes.
• Ancient India (Hindu/Buddhist traditions): The fish is revered as a sacred symbol of prosperity and abundance. The Matsya Avatar (Vishnu as a fish) saved humanity, making fish a symbol of protection and new beginnings. In Bengali traditions, fish is offered to the goddess Durga to show devotion and gratitude during her "homecoming".
• Ancient Greece and Rome: Fish were sometimes offered to deities such as Poseidon and Hekate to express gratitude or ask for favor.
• The "Mahi Maratab" (Mughal/Persian Influence): In later, yet ancient-derived tradition, the "Order of the Fish" (Mahi Maratab) was the highest honor conferred by rulers (like the Mughals and the Nawabs of Lucknow) to signify power, prestige, and gratitude for loyalty. 

Significance of Fish Offerings

• Abundance and Prosperity: In regions like China and the Indus Valley, fish symbols (like the carp) represent wealth and abundance, often given in gratitude for a bountiful harvest or successful life.
• Fertility and Protection: Ancient Egyptians and Phoenicians viewed fish as symbols of life, fertility, and protection, frequently offering them to goddesses like Hathor.
• Marital Harmony: In various Indian traditions, specifically Bengali, fish are gifted by the groom's family to the bride's to wish for a long, happy marriage, serving as a symbol of conjugal unity and gratitude for the union. 

These practices reflect a universal ancient truth: the fish was a sacred, revered symbol, bridging the human and divine worlds, and a tangible way to express thanks for life's necessities.
