கள்ளர் குலா மக்களுக்கு Zagros DNA

ஏதோ steppe புல்வெளியாம், அதனால் வந்தேறிகளாம்!!!. 4-5% தான் தமிழ் பிராமணர்களிடம் இந்த மரபணு உள்ளது. ஆனால் ஈரானிய zagros DNA அதை விட 4 மடங்கு இருந்தாலும் வள்ளுவரின் மிகை நாடி மிக்க கொள்ளல் என்ற கோட்பாடு தூக்கி எறியப்பட்டுவிட்டது. மற்ற சாதிகளில் zagros வந்தேறி மரபு இதை விட அதிகம் உள்ளது. தமிழ் சாதிகள் அத்தனையிலும் zagros DNA அதிகம் உள்ளது என்பதற்கு சான்று இது. கூடுதலாக யூதர்களும் இதை கொண்டுள்ளனர் என்றால் தமிழரும் யூதரும் அண்ணன் தம்பிகளா? ஏற்கனவே வெள்ளாளரை பார்த்தோம். இப்போது கள்ளர் DNA வை பார்ப்போம்.

The Kallar caste group in South India has shown a significant, though not uniform, prevalence of Y-chromosome Haplogroup J2, with various studies indicating frequencies around 44% to as high as 87% in different samples, making it a notable lineage within the community. Haplogroup J2 is thought to have originated in the Caucasus, Anatolia, Mesopotamia, or Western Iran and is frequently associated with agricultural expansion into South Asia. 

Prevalence of J2 among Kallars

High Frequency:

Studies have reported high frequencies of J2 among Kallars. One study indicated a frequency of 44% for J2 in the Kallar group, while another study in the context of Indian castes noted J2 was present in all castes but not correlated with caste rank. 

Origin and Significance of J2

Geographic Origins:

Haplogroup J2-M172 is common in Western Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, Southern Europe, and North Africa, with potential origins in the Caucasus, Anatolia, Mesopotamia, or Western Iran. 

Agriculturalists:

The J2 lineage is often associated with agricultural innovators who spread across the Mediterranean and into South Asia. 

Historical Presence in India:

The presence of J2 in Indian populations suggests the entry of agriculturalists into India possibly around 10,000 years ago or earlier. 

Overall Context in South Indian Genetics

Widespread Distribution:

Y-chromosome haplogroup J2 is found in various South Indian castes, including Vellalars and Yadavars, as well as some tribal groups.
