Would anyone be up for a ride in the NH area on Sunday? Ascutney, others… Thinking about going then having an after ride refreshment, or two.

Hello Peter,
Shall I plan taking a trip down, maybe ride Ascutney? I haven't been there in a couple years.

Yes - let’s plan for it. I’ve only been there twice so I’m not very familiar with the trails. I usually start from the Coaching Road parking area.

Another option - there’s a place 10 minutes from my house, Newport Town Forest. It’s a decent ride, not overly technical but fun. Theres about 1.5 to 2 hours of riding. We could do those trails if you want.

Either starting point for you is 1.5 hours to get there. Want to shoot for a 12PM start?

Great. I think I am preferring Ascutney. I would like to start at the ski area. I saw a couple trails on trailforks that go up the ski area that seem new that I want to try, then we can work our way over to Coaching Rd, do a loop and head back. I can text when I leave home.
