Polish Hill is working on some street projects and at the last minute
from a resident suggestion decided to repave their sidewalks including
a stamped brick pattern in the concrete. The CDC said it wasn't even
that expensive, and they could dye and coat the concrete to resemble
the old-style yellow brick sidewalks that are very much like ours.
I think this would be a great idea to consider as we move forward with
the Third Street project since it would look authentic and could also
tie in all the pedestrian areas. Here’s their blog entry with photos:

paste the link since I couldn't embed it).
Have a beautiful day!

"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare
and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something
that no one else has--or ever will have--something inside that is
unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover
that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression."
