Hi. I have a number of flows that log in to a web backend to run and download reports. As the access to the backedn needs to authenticate, I prefer to log in, run a report, download the results, then run next report and download those result. When the second download is commenced, Edge pops up a window asking if I want to allow or block multiple downloads. The popup only stays alive for a few seconds and then seems to automatically choose block.
I have tried to use the advanced options in the click download step to say that if a popup appears click "allow" but it doesnt work.
I'm sure that would work fine but when I add sites to the Allow list and then restart Edge, they have been removed from the list again. Ive reinstalled edge and followed various online guides but cannot "save" allowed sites.
A belated thank you to everyone who pitched in ideas. The issue was actually caused by another edge setting under "Privacy, Search and Services" which was ticked that cleared the site settings when Edge was closed. See image. Once that setting was cleared, Edge retained the site permissions that allowed multiple downloads from the specific URL's.

I fond that executing click() event on a element inside a for loop for multiple files download works only for limited number of files (10 files in my case). The only reason that would explain this behavior that made sense to me, was speed/intervals of downloads executed by click() events.
This works in all browsers (IE11, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Chrome and Chrome Mobile) My documents are in multiple select elements. The browsers seem to have issues when you try to do it too fast... So I used a timeout.
Note: though this is one of the few ways to download multiple files at once, without creating pop-up, this won't work with files that can be rendered in browser. Check the JavaScript code comments.
Many of my school textbooks have PDF files online. However, they are a multiple-file PDFs that can be read in Adobe Reader. For an example of this, try opening one of the PDFs located here in Adobe Reader. I want to download the entire textbook to read off of my Android device. Is there some script or utility I can utilize to download the entire textbook? Thanks.
Concentrations of fecal-indicator bacteria in urban streams and ocean beaches in and around Santa Barbara occasionally can exceed public-health standards for recreation. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), working with the City of Santa Barbara, has used multi-disciplinary science to trace the sources of the bacteria. This research is helping local agencies take steps to improve recreational water quality.
