Another Mission Creek walk next Saturday

Hello again Thinkwalker!
As tomorrow’s walk is now completely full, I have set up another that starts at 10 a.m. Saturday March 1st and covers the same ground:
2 to 2¼ hours
We’ll walk along the edge of the dune system unraveling the historical interactions between estuarial marsh (sometimes known as Mission Creek) and the dune edge. We’ll discuss the earliest known inhabitants and their use of the space, plus how the Mission Dolores was positioned to take advantage of all that. I’ll bring pictures!
The walk will start in the flats and end at Duboce Park. There are currently 9 spots open on this walk.
To learn the starting location, please RSVP by email. I will use this system: 6 spots open immediately, 3 saved for late responders.
Make a donation of $20 to $40 at the end of the walk by Venmo, cash, PayPal, camel dung, whatever.
Have a great weekend to the maximum extent possible, which means getting outdoors. Now!
