People on this list seem ready for more. So…
It’s only a week ahead, but I have a feeling you’ll want to know about this Thinkwalk you can sign up for.
Dragonfly Creek to El Polín Spring, approx. 3 miles
Aug 7th 10:00 a.m.
Three miles in 2½ to 3 hours would allow a few good stops and good hiking.
Topics: Daylighting of creeks, local dunes and groundwater, tap water history of the presidio, some tree and climate discussion, underwear in high places (really!).
Cost: You decide at the end of the walk; use cash, PayPal or Venmo. $40 suggested donation (supports my natural history education and mapping work).
To sign up, RSVP by replying to me. Limit of 12 walkers. It’s on a weekday, so I doubt it’ll fill.
More Thinkwalks soon. Some on weekends. I know most folks prefer that.
