Thinkwalk on Sat Feb 22 9am (North Mission–Mission Creek)

Hello fellow Thinkwalker,

Please join me for a 2 to 2¼ hour walk early on Saturday (Feb 22 at 9:00 a.m.)

We’ll walk along the edge of the dune system unraveling the historical interactions between estuarial marsh (sometimes known as Mission Creek) and the dune edge. We’ll discuss the earliest known inhabitants and their use of the space, plus how the Mission Dolores was positioned to take advantage of all that. I’ll bring pictures!

The walk will start in the flats and end at Duboce Park. There are currently 10 spots open on this walk for a total of 14 of us—a good size for a discussion and exploration group!

To learn the starting location, please RSVP by email. I will use this system: 4 spots open today, 3 tomorrow, 3 Friday. If you don’t get a spot, there’ll be more walks on future days.

Make a donation of $20 to $40 at the end of the walk by Venmo, cash, whatever. Just no DOGEcoin, please.
