I believe that you are looking after the list of animals stranded in NOLA.
Well done for your wonderful work.
I have recieved the following information about people on the ground in NOLA
who can help with trapped animals. Perhaps you could forward the
information to the relevant people on your list. The first one is urgent,
as the person leaves today and has left no cell phone number.

2. I am in the Garden District and faring just fine. I can help animals
stranded in the Uptown/Garden District area. With your permission I can
break in and leave a week's worth of food, water or litter.
I have a generator, food, water & pet meds. No flooding or damage in my area
near . My Phone & e-mail are working. Supply me with address, color of
house, how to get in your house, pet description and how to contact you.
We have located and are caring for some dogs wandering in the area. We're
working on getting digital photos of them.

3. My mother is still in Metaire and has stayed throughout the ordeal. She
is offering to take in pets that have been left behind. Telephone service is
intermittant to none, so please call me at 415-377-2380 or email me to tell
me where your pet is. As of now she is housing over 25 animals that have
been left behind and is able to take more. Please tell me your name and
address and what kind of pet you have. I'm not sure if she'll be able to go
south of I-10 or east of Causeway due to limited gas supply for the car.
She's willing to break a window to take the animals if given permission.

4. have a 16 foot jon boat that I can bring to NO and pilot for your use. I
live in Mobile, AL and will arrive on Friday to assist with pet recovery
missions. I'm very skilled and trained in navigation and small boat
handling. Please call me at 251-802-9841 if you still require my service.
