New Records Disappearing

I am using thinking-sphinx 5.4.0, Sphinx 2.2.11.

New records for both of my models do not appear when I search for them. I am using active record with deltas.

Any thoughts on how to debug? They have been working fine for ages. I can't think what would have changed.
