TONIGHT:
Our monthly meeting is tonight, 7pm at AJ's Music Cafe in Ferndale.
We'll be going over our upcoming projects, organizing volunteers, and
taking your ideas. Everyone is welcome to join us!

TUESDAY:
In honor of Women's History Month, Adele Nieves and Julie Fiandt will
be presenting a workshop on Body Image and Media Literacy on Tuesday,
March 4, 2008, at Macomb Community College in Warren, MI.
The workshop is part of the Women's Symposium sponsored by the
Organization for Women Leaders. The symposium provides an opportunity
for us to support our sisters who work and contribute on behalf of the
larger community.

TUESDAY, MARCH 18:
In recognition of Women's History Month in March, Woman in
Communications (WIC) of Detroit will present "Cyberactivism and
Feminism Today."
Sarah Morgan will be speaking at this event along with and Joni Hubred-
Golden, publisher of Michigan Women's Forum, a web-based electronic
news magazine devoted to women's issues.

SUNDAY, APRIL 13:
Our next selection for the Think Girl Book Club is Medicine Stories:
History, Culture and the Politics of Integrity by Aurora Levins
Morales.
This book club will be held at Julie's house in Ferndale on Sunday,
April 13 at 5pm. We'll be having a potluck, so bring a dish to share.
