Business office survivors learn to distinguish bluster from need, and anxiety from importance.

Notes on Work

Beginnings are awkward.
Continuings are strenuous.
Easy peace won't last.
Inner balance may.

Death?
Doubtful.
The graveyard's
a door to more.

Requiem aeternam?
Doubtful.
New life,
new work.

Why then work?
Stagnation stinks.
Starvation hurts.
Endings aren't.
