Guys and Gals,

This lady is from the Youth Challenge and is looking for Mentors both male and female. I asked her to provide their application to us so that we can save time in getting the info to her. She is in need of a female mentor asap, the only one THiNK has is Chris's mom and/or LBCA. I am going to forward this to Harold as soon as I get this sent to our team.

Mr. Parr,
Thank you for taking my call today and volunteering to assist our cadets.
Attached is the mentor application. Please know that since our program is
now 4 weeks in session, we need to move as fast as possible to try to secure
mentors for the cadets that are without mentors. If you have any questions,
please feel free to contact me. I am also including the first mail out to
mentors, this mailout includes the interview sheet and a list of dates for
training and other relevant information. The training days are primarily
interactive time with the cadet with some group meetings with the case
manager the mentor will work with. As I stated in the phone conversation,
I am without the ability to access voicemail, so leaving a message does not
get a response at this time.

ALSO, My daughter Alexandra has put on events for the National Kidney Foundation in D.C. and is currently in marketing/events for the Baltimore Business Journal I asked her if she would be willing to speak with us as a group and shed light on what is needed and if could assist us and she said absolutely yes.

 

 

I want to make sure the board is OK getting her on the phone at our next board meeting.  Please let me know your thoughts and I won't be offended if you didn't want the help.
