Changes in Nifty 50 from October 1 2010

Hi All

Following are the changes being made in the Nifty from 1st October 2010,

Stocks going out: ABB, Idea, Unitech
Stocks coming in: Bajaj Auto, Dr Reddy, Sesa Goa

This could be bullish for the stocks coming in as a lot of ETF and Index Funds would have to buy them and replace them with the stocks going out to match the index composition...Just keep a watch on these stocks as they could see 5-10% rise in coming 2-3 months pre and post their inclusion in NIFTY 50

Reliance power had replaced Dr Reddy in Nifty in Sptember 2008.(http://www.business-standard.com/india/storypage.php?tp=on&autono=43520).

Bajaj auto @ 2871 and Dr Reddy @1389 have started to move up,one can
accumulate the two and Sesa Goa for a decent upside till 1st October
2010

Bajaj auto trading at Rs 3005 and Dr Reddy at 1420 both up around 7%
from the recommended buy levels.One can book partial profits in these
two scrips at the CMP

Dr Reddy @ 1540 Sesa Goa @ 335 Bajaj Auto @ 1450(2900 i.e before
bonus) have risen around 4-10% from the recommended level in lieu of
their inclusion in Nifty 50 index from 1 st October 2010.

Dr Reddy which was excluded from the Nifty 50 index in September 2008
has seen the sharpest rise i.e close to 15% post the announcement of
its inclusion in the Nifty 50 index from 1st October 2010.Those who
initiated longs can book 70-80% of their holding in Dr Reddy at the
current level of 1525-1545 and switch to either Bajaj Auto and Sesa
Goa for a decent upside upto 1510 and 350-360

Sesa Goa @ 330 for 5-7 % upside from the current levels i.e Rs 1520 on
Dr Reddy Rs 1540 on Bajaj Auto and Rs 349 on Sesa Goa in the near
term.


The above 3 stocks are replacing Unitech,ABB and Idea in the S & P
Nifty 50 index tomorrow.
