Job Description:
Must:
· Client needs a strong WebSphere Portal Administrator who has now moved to AWS.
· This is an operations support role and not a developer.
· Client said as an admin in both, they will have F5, Java (for scripting), Chef, Puppet etc.
· Client is looking for someone who is very agile and can react quickly.
· 10+ years of experience overall as AWS is relatively new.
· WebSphere Content Management and Drupal woudl be a huge plus +
Responsibilities will include
· Provision for environments across deployment pipeline
· Automate deployment pipelines in a scalable , secure and reliable manner
· Champion and establish continuous integration and delivery
· Turn configuration and infrastructure as code vision into action by executing and delivering cloud strategies
· In-depth experience in WebSphere Portal Administration and maintaining the Portal Stack.
· Good understanding of F5 caching mechanism
· Experience in software developing in C++ , Java a plus
· Experience with Chef, Puppet and other automation tools
· Experience with WebSphere content management
· Experience with Drupal
· Working knowledge of container solutions (Docker) a plus
· Cloud experience , in Amazon AWS (Cloud Formation, Code Deploy, ansible, terraform etc)
· Sound knowledge on System Administration of Web/App , Scripting (shell, perl, ruby, javascrip, phython), DB concepts, Network and Security
· Hands on working experience of DevOps tool (GIT, BitBucket, SVN, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, JIRA etc)
· Work closely with development and test teams to understand requirements and applies industry knowledge to recommend build/buy solutions
