I'd like to learn more about thin. Because of this I plan on adding logging statements to some files in the repo, in order to better follow the flow of data and control. I have been running into errors, related to the parser not being available. Here are the commands in the order that I run them:

$ git clone git://
$ cd thin
$ rake install

and the output

gem build thin.gemspec
WARNING:  description and summary are identical
WARNING:  pessimistic dependency on eventmachine (~> 1.0.4) may be overly strict
  if eventmachine is semantically versioned, use:
    add_runtime_dependency 'eventmachine', '~> 1.0', '>= 1.0.4'
  Successfully built RubyGem

$ cd example

i will now continue to get this error for all the following commands

$ thin
$ thin
$ thin start
$ thin
-R start
