HelloEveryone
I have completed the Frida Kahlo off platform project. I am hoping to find a partner to review my code, and I am happy to review any of your code if you want so kindly go through my code and if there is any suggestions you can make kindly let me know
ahh its a kind off a mixed data type like it is a tuple containing another tuple (or a list) and an integer. so like it is a bit diffrent than what was expected but like it was saying to zip it twice so i guess it is alright right?
yes i was not able to understand that enumerate point as i have not yet used it or it is not introduced idk can you please just explain about it otherwise rest of your explanation was perfect
thank you
I seem to remember learning about the enumerate() function in the unit on iterators, which it returns. It does what the name suggests: enumerate a list. Like zip() it is consumed when accessed, which is why both need to be made into a list if we wish to do more than just iterate over them. The function, like zip is a list method. Not sure it will work with tuples or sets. Would have to experiment.

The major difference in the ice packs in the kit and the hospital ones is the the Frida Mom ice packs have a sticky strip that keeps the pad in place and do a slightly better job at evenly distributing the cold compress.
First let me say that not only did I tear during delivery, I was also cut and experienced internal tearing due to the baby's position. So keep that in mind as these products are based on me having repair done after delivery to fix all the tearing.
I'm home now but in the hospital, the mesh underwear and pads were absolutely useless. I had 2 pairs of always discreet boutique underwear with me which was so much more comfortable. I'd recommend them or depends over the mesh underwear and pad combo. I wish I brought more so I saved one for the day of discharge and wore the other pair the night before to sleep in. I ended up using the always underwear by itself or my maternity underwear with the pads.
Onto the Frida Mom stuff. As soon as I got home, I took a shower and ripped open my Frida Mom kit. The underwear in the kit is much more snug and comfortable than the hospital mesh underwear. These I feel I can easily wear during the day with pads and feel secure. However, I don't find them necessary as the always discreet underwear does the job of it while eliminating the need for pads.
The healing foam was the best thing in this kit and I wish I brought it over my Mama Earth spray. The foam works so much better at cooling and soothing plus the effect last longer than the Dermoplast and Mama Earth.
I would say that I definitely found the items in this kit to be superior to what you will get in the hospital. I don't think the underwear is necessary if you opt for depends or always discreet underwear. However, if I had to pick just one item that I think is essential, it's the witch hazel foam. While the Tucks are annoying, they still get the job done but the foam is totally different from what you get in Dermoplast and the Mama Earth.

Dermoplast, I found, did very little to provide relief. I also to my Earth Mama herbal spray which I found relieved me longer than the Dermoplast.

The witch hazel cooling liners are far better than Tucks as the Mom Frida ones are a long strip vs small round pads you'd need to layer with Tucks.

The hospital peri bottle is terrible...okay that's extreme lol. It gets the job done but is awkward to position. The Frida Mom Peri bottle's design is smart as you just hold the bottle, position the head and spray. It works great for front and back. I think this will also be good for potty training so not just a one-time use.

Again, remember I have a lot of swelling, stitches and pretty much had surgery right after delivery. So YMMV on all of these products.
Hope this helps some of you ladies still looking for relief and still anxiously waiting to deliver. LikeViolation ReportedReport as Inappropriateash2882I second all of this! LikeViolation ReportedReport as InappropriateddiscoflowerbabyGotta agree with all of your review!

Background: Numerous iron preparations are available for the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia in pregnancy. We aimed to provide a summary of the effectiveness and safety of iron preparations used in this setting.
Methods: We did a systematic review and network meta-analysis of randomised trials. We searched MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, trial registers, and grey literature for trials published in any language from Jan 1, 2011, to Feb 28, 2021. We included trials including pregnant women with iron deficiency anaemia and evaluating iron preparations, irrespective of administration route, with at least 60 mg of elemental iron, in comparison with another iron or non-iron preparation. Three authors independently selected studies, extracted data, and did a risk of bias assessment using the Cochrane tool (version 1.0). The primary outcome was the effectiveness of iron preparations, evaluated by changes in haemoglobin concentration at 4 weeks from baseline. The secondary outcomes were change in serum ferritin concentration at 4 weeks from baseline and treatment-related severe and non-severe adverse events. We did random-effects pairwise and network meta-analyses. Side-effects were reported descriptively for each trial. This study is registered with PROSPERO, CRD42018100822.
Interpretation: Iron preparations for treatment of iron deficiency anaemia in pregnancy vary in effectiveness, with good evidence of benefit for intravenous iron sucrose and some evidence for intravenous ferric carboxymaltose. Clinicians and policy makers should consider the effectiveness of individual preparations before administration, to ensure effective treatment.
