Garden Walk this Sunday, June 8th!

Hi Everyone, 

Please don’t forget the Garden Walk this SUNDAY which has been arranged by our Catonsville friends Fawn and Jessica. Please scroll down to the email I sent on May 25th for all the details! 

The RSVP is part of the potluck sign up. However, if you only plan to see the gardens and you don't plan to participate in the supper, we would still like to know that you are coming, for planning purposes.

As we discussed at our May meeting, our Catonsville members have planned a Garden Walk on Sunday, June 8th from 4:00-8:00 p.m..  This was planned for a Sunday so it could start early and people would have plenty of time to enjoy it and still get home at a reasonable time.

We would like to welcome you to the Catonsville Garden Walk. Please arrive at the Webb home at 111 Sanford Avenue around 4 pm to receive your Garden Walk map and drop off your potluck donations. You will be able to walk (or drive) to approximately 10 gardens and then meet back at 111 Sanford Avenue for a potluck dinner and time to talk with other garden lovers. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend and see some hidden gems.

Good afternoon everyone,

As of now, the Garden Walk in Catonsville is still on.  It may be tiptoeing around the raindrops, but it is looking like there may not be active rain at that time.    If something changes, we will let you know.

Here are the details:

Good evening!

Now that Labor Day is past, it is time for us to start our Garden Club program year!!

I have consulted with Jeff Teeters and he would like to have a September meeting.  So, I have offered our deck for a get-together next Monday, Sept. 8th.  It is the second Monday of the month and our regular meeting day.

Details:      We will meet at 6:30 p.m. for Tom's famous bbq chicken

                   5109 Edmondson Avenue (wear a sweater because we hope to eat on the deck)

                  

                    We will discuss our summer gardens and the topics for upcoming meetings

                    Please bring a dish to go with the chicken, beverages will be provided

Also:  This Saturday, Sept. 6th there will be a HUGE FLea Market at St. B's, 4711 Edmondson Ave. (where we usually have our meetings).  The time is 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  There will be every conceivable item you might need.  Be sure to check out the Garden area for tools and pots and the book area for gardening and cooking books!

Hi Everyone, 

This is a reminder that we have a meeting tomorrow (Monday evening, Sept. 8th) 

It would be helpful to Tom to know how many people he is cooking for, so please let me know if you will be in attendance. So far, I have heard from 8 folks that they plan to attend. (You don’t need to tell me if you will not be there.)

We will provide chicken, beverages and a dessert. One person has said she is bringing a vegetable and the rest of the meal will be ?????
