Please RSVP- Garden Club- Tomorrow Night!

Hi Everyone,

It looks like tomorrow will be another lovely day and we are having our May meeting at the home of Daphne and Tom Cover, 5109 Edmondson Ave.

We will begin with a potluck at 6:30.  Tom will be cooking hamburgers on the grill.  There is also some chicken.  PLease bring a side dish or dessert (or just yourself).

We will meet on the back deck.

Agenda-  

* Social and planning meeting. We will be discussing the Garden Walks which will take place in June and July as well as our plans for the 2023-24 program year.

 

* And since the club voted at our last meeting to take on a garden space at the Hunting Hills pool, we need to put together an actual committee of people who will see the project through. 

* We can also have an update on the butterfly gardens and start the process of nominations for officers for next year.

It would be helpful to have an RSVP so we know how many to plan for.

Sorry I won't be able to join you. I'm looking forward to getting back into the club again perhaps in the fall.

Is there any information you can share on this list about the Gundry Glass Hospital farming plans (hope I've said that right enough for you to know what I mean, I think it was discussed at the last meeting)?

Sorry to miss. It's hard to get back since our move to Lutherville -- in 1998!

Has anyone looked at the Healing Garden at Kernan lately? That was a big project. I know I used to take my grandboys over to weed and water.  they're now 27 and 25! Penny might have an update.

I will be there with cheese and crackers.

I am seeking one, two, or a few members to walk through my garden with me to give advice. Mostly about which things are weeds, but other advice is welcome. I can provide wine or iced tea and snacks as well as plants to take home. Daytime (including late afternoon) or weekend time would be best and I would try to be flexible to whatever works for someone who is willing to give advice. For evening, maybe Wednesday, May 31. Anyone interested?
