Dear Daphne and others,

I want to let whoever is coordinating the Garden Club project at the Pool know that, between my garden and Charles Deals, we have as many Brown-Eyed Susans as you will need. They are a wonderful plants for a hot, dry, partially shady garden.  They are a native, and show up on the pollinator friendly lists all the time.

PLEASE Let me know who is coordinating the pool project,  if you want Brown Eyed Susans, and when you will be ready for them.

If anyone else wants some, please let me know asap.  We will begin digging them out soon to make room.  They are ready to transplant NOW!!!

Thanks, Mary

PS Marilyn, If you have new members who are on this list, please forward this.  I don’t want these wonderful plants to go to waste!!!

Hello,

I'd love to get some Brown Eyed Susans if you have some available.  I also have mountain mint that is taking over one side of my front yard.  I'd love to share.

Let me know.  Thank you.

That’s great.  You are the first on the list!  I will have company for the next two weeks, and don’t think I’ll be able to work in the garden. However, if you want to come and dig some and carry it with you, we may be able to coordinate for this weekend.

It is growing rapidly, so the sooner it is transplanted, the happier it will be (and the better it will bloom for you this year).

I have dug 2 wheelbarrows of the Brown-eyed Susans.  They are on my back patio at 513 Old Orchard Road.  Please help yourself.  If you need to reach me, call my cell at 410 215 1868

Thanks, Mary
