Hello friends…how about this winter wonderland!! 

Happy March. I hope this note finds you making snow angels, sipping tea, pondering the million perfect shapes falling outside your windows.  Or, returning from a day on the hill…excited for a week of soft white wonder and mountain goodness!

This Month is our 5-year anniversary and we are celebrating!!

'the yellow room' news, workshops & events. (new spring drop-in schedule is attached!!)

** please note there are a few class cancellations this month for the special medicine wheel workshop.  There are no classes on the evening of Thursday March 20th and no class on the morning of Saturday March 22nd, thank you for your understanding**

1. The Co-op is now offering 3-month & 1-month unlimited passes.  $295 for 3 months of unlimited yoga.  $120 for 1-month…These passes seem to encourage regular practice and are supportive for people to try new classes and teachers.  They are on sale indefinitely.

2.  Sarah will be offering a special 'mini retreat' on Friday March 28th - 5:30 - 8:30 pm.  Email sarah with questions and/or if you would like to attend.  Focus this month will be 'bringing alive the deep core in back bending'.  sarah...@gmail.com.  $25 drop-in

4. MEDICINE WHEEL SQUAMISH - Medicine Wheel Squamish is coming to the yellow room on March 20-23 for Spring Equinox. A gathering for the apprenticeship of Mountain Shamanism with Christine Selda. Space is limited for this workshop, there are still a few spots available.

5. CHILDREN'S MEDICINE WHEEL - Also blooming for the Spring is a Children's Medicine Wheel for four Sundays in April and May...ages 7 and up.....first direction Sunday April 13.  In the children's medicine wheel your child will build a "mesa", a medicine bundle that represents their heart and the map of their healing. Each child will experience shamanic healing, fire ceremonies, an introduction to perceptual shifts, shamanic journeys to meet their power animals, singing, dancing, collage and nature time. We will have a talking circle and potlatch lunches together as well as personal support for each child individually. There are four full day workshops.  Sunday April 13th, April 27, May 4 and May 18.  $200.00 per direction  Space is limited for this workshop, there are still a few spots available.  Contact Christine directly if your child is interested chris...@gmail.com

6. Sacred Pregnancy is offering a workshop in the yellow room this April 5&6th at the Yoga Co-op in Squamish.. Couples are encouraged to attend both classes because day 2 will build upon the previous. We will cover birth plans, the birth process, birthing positions and even bonding activities for you and your partner as you transition into the role of being parents. The snow began here this morning and all day continued, 

its white rhetoric everywhere calling us back to why, how,

whence such beauty and what the meaning; 

such an oracular fever! flowing past windows, an energy it seemed

would never ebb, never settle less than lovely! 

and only now, deep into night, it has finally ended.

The silence is immense, 

and the heavens still hold a million candles, nowhere the familiar things:

stars, the moon, the darkness we expect and nightly turn from. 

Trees glitter like castles of ribbons, the broad fields smolder with light, a passing creek bed lies heaped with shining hills;

and though the questions that have assailed us all day remain — not a single answer has been found –

walking out now into the silence and the light under the trees, and through the fields, feels like one.
