So I got a new Laptop, I like to use all space available on the harddrive, and I also always install Windows fresh on new devices. I have never had a problem getting device drivers before, but Huawei does not publish all drivers on their website.
I have had to use the device driver for the Realteak 8822CE from another source (which works, and enables "PC Manager" to get all the other drivers w/o issue. PC Manager installs MANY more drivers than are even available on the support page.
im on Kernel 5.2.9, which is greater than 5.0 I guess, and I checked for /sys/devices/platform/huawei-wmi like mentioned in the GitHub you send, however, that directory is missing, so I guess the drivers are not installed. How do I check if I'm using the correct driver that is integrated into the kernel?
I have a Huawei matebook X Pro laptop. I am trying to install Premiere Pro 2020 but I get a warning telling me that my Intel display driver and my Nvidia display drivers are out of date and may cause crashes and loss of data so need to be updated.
1. The current version of your Intel display driver may cause performance and stability issues. It is strongly recommended that you update to driver version 100.8476 or later. Drivers are provided by Intel or your computer's manufacturer.

Video NVIDIA GeForce MX150 v.23.21.13.8892
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. NVIDIA has identified a bug which causes random crashes in your Adobe application and has provided a fix in driver version 451.77. This driver update is strongly recommended.

As an additional recommendation, I consider that is important to always update the software/firmware of a laptop using the drivers provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as they may perform some customizations on Intel generic drivers to meet the needs of their specific system design.
I have the exact same issue with my Huawei Matebook D 14. I can only use the HDMI port but cannot add a third monitor via a USB to VGA adaptor. I've even downloaded generic drivers for the USB to VGA adaptor but it doesn't work. It is as if USB ports on the Matebook cannot connect to display ports for some reason. Does anybody have a solution?
Although it is bad news you are giving me, it is good to know that I should stop trying to install different drivers to make it work. None have worked and obviously, it is because, as you said, my Matebook D does not have the appropriate built-in graphics card. Do you know if adding an external eGPU could work?
@Cadmaster Same here with the new matebook x pro since i bought it in May. Crash usually with Google chrome and video running. Screen freeze or black screen. Restart and goes fine. All drivers updated as windows....
Ok, so here is my dilema. I recently purchased a eGPU and GPU (Razer Core X, Nvidia Founder Edition 3070) for my 2021 Huawei Matebook Pro X, so I can use it as a sort or desktop gaming PC. Everything should work fine connected via Thunderbolt 4 cable, but my PC performance is slow and even crappier in games. Any suggestions what might cause that? I knew the 3070 wouldn't run as fast as in a desktop PC, but I wasn't expecting this slow performance. I'll let the specs of the laptop in an image below. All drivers and everything are up to date.
To be honest, I saw the pictures you posted, and I'm basically sure that these things won't help, because I saw a lot of complaints on Chinese forums, but not many ideas, and I'm not a Huawei user, and my ability is limited The level is average, but I found and translated many users who bought matebook X pro like you, I hope it can at least make you feel better.
