My computer (pc) has been really slow for days now and getting worse.  Takes an age to do anything and freezes up almost completely at times.  I can hear this kind of rushing sound coming from it like it's really struggling.  This, as I don't need to tell you, is no time for it to start playing up!   Perhaps it's the heat?!  The room it's in is quite cool.

I've got a laptop as well so have something to type on but that's not been happy to connect to the internet lately so I don't tend to use it that much.

Any suggestions as to what might be up?  The computer's not very old.  We have a computer repair shop yards from my house but don't want to spend out if I can help it.  I'll run the scan things again, that might help mightn't it?

I have exactly the same thing Deidre, and I don't have money to pay someone else to do it. I usually run an antivirus programme when my comphter does this, a free antiviruse. Because it can be a pain to get to the free link I use the links on martin lewis's money saving expert website. The top link is to anti-virus stuff, I use malware or ad aware cos often tracking stuff slows the computer, the second link is to a thing that does defrazzling which makes computer's quicker. It tells you how it works underneath it.

Good luck on your submissions!!! Its so exciting and Jo is great!!!

Is it just me and thee then not at the conference? I'm looking forward to hearing about it too! Lynne x
