Being that it's summertime, we occasionally get
requests from ladies at our shows who want to
purchase our ever-popular Got Whiskey shirts
as halter tops. Until recently, we've had to tell
them that we don't have them as halters.

Well, Bridget devised a do-it-yourself way to
make a halter top from a regular mens Got
Whiskey shirt. The result can be seen here:

Bear in mind that the one in the photo is looser
fitting due to the size of the original tee (a men's
M, which will run large on an average sized woman);
you can tailor the fit by using a smaller size
shirt. Or, if you're using a larger tee and want
a smaller halter, simply cut open the back of
the tee, make ties from a strip cut from the
bottom of the shirt, sew them on either side of
the back-flap and tie to fit. You can also knot the
ends of the strap as Bridget did or leave them
free; both options look good.

Bridget had several requests at the Vermont
show for directions on how to make one
(including one lady who wanted to buy it off
her back!) so we decided to offer them to everybody.

The easy directions are here:

If you get stuck, Bridget would be glad to walk
you through the process. E-mail her at

We packed the instruction cards with our t-shirts,
so if you or your lady would like one, ask us at
any show or send us an e-mail.

Here's to another great Whiskey summer!
