to The Valley
Kazkan the goblin poked his head out from behind the waterfall, having made his way carefully down the dwarven tunnel. He shifted his rucksack and heard the bottles inside chink together slightly. It was high time he introduced those elves at Aldalorna to his apple wine - not just the regular stuff, either, this was the good stuff. It wasn't nearly as flammable, for one thing, which was probably going to be useful in that big tent of theirs.

He reached out for the rope at the side of the waterfall and swung out over the edge. The valley folk would definitely have to find a better way of getting down to the plains if the trading post was ever going to come to anything. Still, this would do for now -

A blaze of light shot out of the sky to the west, illuminating the top of the tower at Entatratanur. He remembered Briar talking about that one, and the grisly skeletons that had been found inside it. Presumably some of the valley folk were off exploring again, getting up to mischief. He clambered down the rope as an answering light flashed three times from the top of the forest tower. With that, the light went out and the forest returned to normal. He was sure he'd end up hearing all about it before too long. That elf wizard would no doubt try and talk his ears off again. Shaking his head, he walked to the edge of the Quiet Wood and found the path. He could already see the lamplight from Aldalorna through the trees.
