Hey everyone - we had our first two games last weekend and I think (hope?) that people had fun playing.

Two parties went out into the world, and the folks back at the Lakeside Inn will be eagerly awaiting their return, to hear the news of what's out there in the big wide world.

One party - Alagos, Helgrethe, Maiva, Whisper and Yirisel - went out to the site in the low hills marked with five golden hexagons, and are expected back this Friday. The other party - Bran, Briar, Kallista, Sariel and Torvar - went out on a longer journey to the fork in the river, marked on the map with jewels and strange glyphs. They're due to return on Saturday.

I can run another game this Sunday the 24th if anyone is free to play - you don't have to travel in the same parties as before, and if you haven't yet played, this could be your chance to go adventuring!

Sarah and I are away this weekend so Alagos and Hel definitely won't be going. Have fun, kids!

Put me on the reserve list. I'm free and would be happy to play if
there's a group that could use another member, but if anyone else wants
in - especially if they've not had a chance to take part yet - then
give them priority.

Heya,

Jacquie, Chris and I are free on Sunday to game if there is space (Michelle is being fantastic and having the girls again).

Thanks
A

Meant to add we would need to finish at 4pm, but could start earlier (11am?). If that doesn’t fit with others though we can always sit this one out!

I think an earlier start and finish can work.

This time out the party is likely to be Torvar, Briar, Sariel and some new players...

Adam - since we've got new players coming in, and the Clarks are arranging monster-wranglers to attend, do you mind sitting out this next session?

The other players are likely to be some combination of...

Krissy's character, a paladin, probably a wood elf if I remember rightly
Toby's character, a dragonborn... ranger? I forget.
Rich J's character, a... I don't know.

Depending on who can roll up characters in time we'll see who we get. This does risk me running a game for six players but I'm alright to do that on this one occasion (though don't expect me to make a habit of it!)

Rich J's character, your friendly, neighbourhood Forest Gnome, Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer, with a midlife crisis, a big stick and a tendency to play with fire :o)

ok, so as you've no doubt by now seen over at this post https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/thevalleyrpg/UzV56Bg0U4s ("Friday night at the Lakeside Inn"), the party who went out to investigate the site in the low hills never came back.

I can see three options for Sunday's group...

1. Go to the nearby site with the six hexagons in the quiet forest, as originally planned
2. Head out to the mysterious stone doors in the low hills and try to find out what happened to the missing party
3. Do something else entirely

The makeup of Sunday's adventuring party (unless something changes) will be Briar, Sariel, Torvar and two new characters - Rich J's gnome sorcerer and Krissy's wood-elf Paladin.

Let me know what you'd like to do.

This might depend on whether tomorrow's lot fail to make it back either... especially since three of them are meant to be joining us! ;o)

I wouldn't be *that much* of a jerk.

Honestly!

They’ve probably just met some locals and decided to stay for a bbq, maybe a long weekend of drinking, take in the atmosphere! I’m sure they’re fine...

I think of we hadn't heard anything back about the other team we should consider investigating...

Not if you value your (character's) life.

Stay out of it Kallista, you're at the bar of the Lakeside Tavern, they can't hear you :p
