I have amassed a collection of insane, stupid, and otherwise indefensible behavior by the TSA, but this one takes the cake.  Laughing at the remains of a dead man which you just desecrated?  If I had been in this position I would have missed my flight because I would have been in prison for assault with intent to kill.

That's unbelievable. I don't know how I'd react if that had been me. I do know that the quality of people they have hired as TSA screeners is pretty poor; it's essentially an entry-level position. I just can't see the amount of money and time spent being worthwhile; I'm not aware of a single terrorist attempt being intercepted since the TSA's inception.
