Any iPhone users tried out Google's new Hangouts app yet?

For Android it replaces (G)Talk. For iOS, it may be a good replacement for Vtok or any other (G)Talk alternatives.

I've installed it on my wife's iPhone 5 and it's pretty decent. At least, so far, it's better than Vtok. However, I have found that it seems to have some type of "time out" and it logs her out of it without her knowledge. So, there are times I can't send her an instant message or initiate a video call, which is very frustrating. I'm not sure if this is a fault on Apple or Google. I just know that with my Android phone and my 13 yr olds Android phone that we can always use it, there is no "time out", that I've seen yet. We can instant message and video call each other at all times.
