Anyone receive any cool, geeky presents for Christmas?
As you can see from the signature below, my entire family  pitched in to get me an awesome tablet. This thing is gorgeous. And comic books in Comixology look absolutely beautiful. It was definitely worth the $220 refurb price on Newegg (yes, I had to tell my fiance exactly which one to get). I also got a neat little portable speaker that looks like Andy the Android that you can find at Walgreens. I also got the recent Assassins Creed 3 for Xbox. And an old, dear friend sent me a kick ass Tom Baker Doctor Who scarf.
What did you get?

2013 Genesis Coupe Grand Touring. It has more electronic gadgets than any car I've had (and is smoking fast to boot). Voice controlled everything, GPS, XM Sirius, and syncs perfectly with my iPhone (including Bluetooth playback of all audio content- no more wired iPod needed to bring my music with me!)

Congrats on the tablet.  I have been really enjoying reading comics on the Touchpad so I know what you are going through in that respect.

My wife and boys got me Showcase Presents: The Flash v.4, Showcase Presents: The Trial Of The Flash, Showcase Presents: Martian Manhunter v.2, and Mater's Tall Tales on DVD. (Both of my boys as well as myself love Cars and the varius Cars characters.)

My father got me a neat diorama of King Kong swinging Godzilla around by the tail, 1962 style!

My brother got me a very cool Mr. Met hat and Showcase Presents: Sgt. Rock v.1, which I already had, but he didn't know that!  Going to see if I can trade it for a volume I don't have.

Awesome gifts everyone! Cary - Gorgeous car!; Mary - Great dress!; Ed - Sweet tablet!; Luke - Someone other than Frank bought the Martian Manhunter Showcase? ;) Sounds like you've got some great reading ahead of you.

I got lots of "mundy" gifts, but got a few geeky gifts. The Doctor Who card game by Cubicle 7 (looking forward to trying this!), Superman PJs, a Doctor Who magazine, and a couple LOL Catz books. I also bought myself the Dark Knight Returns DVD.

That Cthulu dress is wonderful!  I love it!  (Hopefully it doesn't somehow drive you insane or something.)

Shag, the Doctor Who card game is the one where you pass the hand around, right?  Let me know how that one plays when you get a chance to try it out, please!  (And I actually now have BOTH volumes of Showcase Martian Manhunter!)

Luke - That's the game!  Hopefully will try it out in the next few weeks. Cubicle 7 developed the roleplaying game, so I've got faith in them!
