I blame my Iron Fan mark out status, but I loved Iron Man 2.  It will be hard for me to be objective about this film.

You're not alone. While it clearly wasn't as good as the first, I enjoyed the second Iron Man a lot. It could have used a better close, though.

Cary, I will agree with you, the ending was something of a letdown.  I really liked the drone sequence, with Shellhead being chased by Rhodey in the slave-circuited War Machine and all the drones, but the final showdown with Whiplash needed a little more.  Not much more, but maybe another 2 minutes and it would have been much improved.
