Just saw the episode. It was an okay episode. I just want to know,
WTF, mate! I mean the whole expelling of the secret ooze out of the
mouth and she's all of sudden alive? Lame.
I was actually hoping (even though I was expecting Jenny to die) she
would become a new companion. The rest of the episodes of the season
could have such great potential with her in the episodes. Besides,
she's HOT!
Did you guys know that the actress was Peter Davidson's daughter? So
she truly is the Doctor's Daughter.

Yup, knew about her being Peter Davison's daughter. The actress also did
some Big Finish stories. And yes, she is really hot. Love the leather
pants. I think this was really just a set-up for later stories in the
season. Rumor is that Gallifrey is coming back this season and there will
be a NEW time war. That would explain why they are spending so much time
reminiscing about Gallifrey (to help the viewer become familiar with the
concepts).

I completely forgot to ask this when I posted this thread.
It was mentioned in this episode that the Dr. had child previously or
was married or something. I forgot already what the blurb was in the
episode.
Being that I only watched the Tom Baker episodes, some of the Peter
Davidson and the recent series, I know very little about Dr. Who's
history.
Is this correct? Did he have a child previously?

Let's see....when the Doctor first came on William Hartnell's Doctor had a grand daughter named Susan who traveled with him.  Also, in the BBC 8th Doctor novels there was an adopted daughter for one book.  Shag, can you think of more?  I don't want to hog ALL the loser points, you know.

I think once again, Dug has won all the loser points.  :)

However, in an effort to garner a few points myself, I'll give more info:

Susan Foreman: The New Adventures novel "Lungbarrow" indicated that she was actually the Granddaugher of someone called "The Other".  "The Other" was one of the trio that founded Time Lord society: Rassilon, Omega, and The Other.  Apparently the Doctor is the reincarnation of the "The Other".  Obviously the novels are not canon, but interesting anyway.

Miranda: The adopted daughter of the eighth Doctor from the BBC novel "Father Time".  An amnesiac Doctor living in the 1980's raised her until she was age 16.  She was actually from space and the last surviving member of her race.  She even had a short-lived comic book series.

That should earn me a couple loser points.  :)
