Fence and Deck Stain Information

Just a reminder that all the fences and decks have to be power washed
and stained (Honey gold) by October. I have a painting and repair
division of my business offering interior painting and fence
staining.
We have done several of the homes here and they look great.

Hello,

I was not aware of this. I see that the exterior is being power washed these days. Are we expected to stain our fences and decks ourselves, or should be expecting it to be taken care of through the central fund? Our exterior is honey gold stained anyway. Our interior of the fence and the deck is a different stain, but is not visible from outside. Why do we need a deck stained in a specific color?

Please refer to your "Townes of Meredith Creek Townhouse Association,
Inc Rules and Regulations" page 14 Decks and Fences.

At one of the board meetings the issue was brought up and discussed
for several months and then voted on.

One color was selected to insure uniformity of the property and avoid
the possibility of multi-colored fences.
