Cat with Purple Color

There is a cat with purple colar and purple little bell sitting
outside my door meowing... it has been been for a couple of days...
before I called animal control, I wanted to make sure it was nobody's
cat in the neighborhood. While I know we don't use this site anymore,
thought it would help to get to the word out... it's hard to walk my
dog past the cat when the cat follows the dog and hisses. Anyone know
if the cat belongs to anyone in the neighborhood?
