On July 7, 2011 The Terrorland published a blog of incarcerated journalist and writer Habib Sulemani under the headline: Generals in real-estate business. In this post Mr Sulemani had exposed the real-estate corruptions of the godlike powerful serving chief of Pakistan Army, Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, and the country's chief spymaster, ISI chief Lt-Gen Shuja Pasha. It was the first ever published report that shocked both the military and civil population of Pakistan.

According to the advises of legal and media teams of the ISI, Gen Kayani and Gen Pasha remained silent, even after their retirements a couple of years ago. However, today that silence has been broken! 

Former Army Chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and his brothers -- who'd taken the Pakistani mainstream media hostage through ISI, MI & MQM -- have finally accepted the power of the social media in Pakistan and have broken their silence through their first press statement issued on Monday in the name of Sunday (you may know the trick technically!).

According to The News: Brig (R) Amjad Parvez Kayani, brother of former army chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Sunday stated that “Kayani Brothers” have been maligned in DHA scam and clarified that ex-army chief has nothing to do with their deeds.

He alleged that for a considerably long time there has been a well-coordinated and malicious campaign, particularly on social media, to malign “Kayani Brothers”. “We had decided to maintain silence but unfortunately it has been taken as a tacit acceptance of guilt.  “Everything under the sun is attributed to us without a shred of lawful or even raw evidence, departmental records or proof. These allegations are baseless. General Kayani never, in any way, sponsored or facilitated our business interests,” he added.
