Theta Xi AM project!!

Hey boys!!

So, now that I have volunteered to be our "project manager" for what promises to be our legendary AM project, and class, I need to get the word out to you guys, so we can throw some ideas around and decide who's skills fit best for what tasks.

That being said, it is looking like we have three options: 1. Paint the pool shed with a stenciled Theta Xi crest. 2. Fix the wall of the storage area behind the basketball hoop.  3. Construct a tiki bar to accent our amazing pool.

Here's the score, the first two jobs are simple, and, while their benefits cant be overlooked, it seems like there is a general consensus regarding the best, most fitting project, for our group of studs that are the Theta Xi fall AMs of 2011; that is the TIKI BAR!!!

I know that we have a wealth of intelligent capable dudes, so lets break it down like this:

--if you have artistic skills

--if you have construction skills

--if you have a car, or better yet, a truck

--if you design skills

--if you have the ability to twist a screw or swing a hammer

--......

I would ask each of you to holler back with at least one area that you might feel useful in.  This is no time for modesty, boys; we all have skills, and, put together, no mountain is too high, no river too wide, and no TIKI BAR is too damn complex for us to handle!!!!!

We are suppose to have our project done before Nov. 11th, so lets get our brains working, and make this AM class project the best damn project the house has ever seen!!

I once blindfoldedly painted a fucking ten foot wall mural with my bare fingers ... ok, not really, but I'd say I'm artistic and design oriented. And I can use tools too. I can start coming up with some designs for the wall.

good bro!  why dont you reach out to Matt Pinopio (sp?), he expressed some interest as well.  If you two can collectively make a stencil of the fraternity coat of arms, the rest should be a cake walk.

some measurements of the surface to be painted might be helpful as well.

I love the sound of that!  Lets see if we cant find some plans online.?  I was thinking maybe a corner type design at the far end of the pool, but the options are endless!!

Corner sounds like a good idea, we should get one of those swinging doors to get behind it. When tests and whatnot are over, I can trawl around for some online plans.
