Some of you may have heard of the legendary UCLA tunnel system that runs underneath our campus and connects nearly every building. Via the tunnels you can access such places as the underground bridge, underground library and Pauley Pavilion. Tonight the first 4 of you to respond to this email will have the chance to take a tour of the tunnels led by myself and Mike McBirnie. Beware, though, that entering the tunnels is trespassing and if caught we may face punishment from the school and/or police. Having never been caught in about 6 or 7 trips to the tunnels, I have no idea what that punishment would be. McBirnie was caught once by a maintenance worker who just kicked him out. We will be meeting up at the house at 1230 am and the excursion should take about 2 hours. Bring a bandanna, flashlight, water, and wear old clothes.
Fraternally,
Ken Barker
