Hi everyone.
Just wanted to remind you that we're playing this Friday (Veteran's day) at the Blue Moon Tavern in the U-District. We're headlining a three band bill (including the hotplates & estocar). For those of you who haven't been to the Blue Moon, it's right at 45th & I-5, across from the Petco. Tom Robbins, in his essay "Why do you live where you live?", cites as two of his reasons for living in Seattle..."Monday Night Football at the Blue Moon Tavern, opera night at the Blue Moon Tavern (which, incidentally, is scheduled so that it coincides with Monday Night Football..." (p. 235 of Ducks...) Yeah, it's a quirky place, but it has a great worn feel, and when we went to hang up some posters they had a handmade poster hanging in the window that read, "Patrick Fitzgerald Rocks!" How can you not love a bar that puts up a poster like that in the window?!
Anyway, you'll get to nap all day, so you'll be able to stay up late for our show. BTW, we may have some new stuff to play for you, as an added bonus...
see you friday.
