I just picked up a hose bib at the orange box store and looking at the
label on it, "NOT FOR POTABLE WATER". I'd heard that a lot of brass
plumbing fittings had failed California's no trace of lead rules, I see
they solved the problem by changing the labels.

Something to keep in mind if you're setting up a faucet that someone has
to drink from, in California not all over the counter faucets are usable.
