thunderbird help

Since the last update (31.0) aside from degrading the look of
Thunderbird, it's changed how it suggests addresses. It used to be I
could just type the first few letters of a name. Now they have to be
UNIQUE to that name. I can't find any way to adjust the sort order (as
in if I type A, I want stuff that starts with A, not everything with an
A in it).

Examples:

san -> Sandra ...
and -> Sandra ...
andra -> Sandra ...
andra_ (space) -> Sandra
andra b -> Andra B...

the -> Stagecraft Mailing List (@theatrical...
the s -> The Stagecraft List (@google...
