Suggestions for a better Skiff

Hi all,

Anna, the Wired Sussex team and I are spending a day focused on The
Skiff as soon as we get back to Brighton. We've got lots of boring
things to cover like accounts and admin but I'm keen that we dedicate
a significant amount of time to planning improvements. There are an
infinite number of thing that could be done to improve the space and
the community and to increase revenue such that we have more cash to
invest in the improvements that cost money.

The Skiff is your space and your community, it's been nearly a year
since Anna and I have been in and the Wired Sussex team only pop in
occasionally, so you know better than anyone else what we should be
doing to make the space better.

No suggestion is too small or too large but the more specific you are
the more likely we'll be able to act on it.

Hi Jon,

To me I think The Skiff does not need that many improvements, I think it just needs to put on some tasty offers to entice people to come in.

Perhaps a loyalty card like a coffee shop. Buy 6 sessions and 7th one is free...if you don't already do that.

How about renting the space in the evening for workshops? I would be interested in doing that.

I will be coming in soon. I have a 6 month old baby which has stopped me from doing any freelance work for a long time.

Hi Mia,

Thank you for these ideas, they are exactly the sorts of things I'd like people to add, vote on and discuss on that suggestions board. Would be great if you could add them, if not I'll stick them on tomorrow.
