It's time for a boring but rather critical email...
This is particularly important for key holders but everyone should be aware.
10 things to do when locking up The Skiff.
1) Check all doors and windows upstairs are locked and bolted
2) Check wooden side door downstairs is bolted at the top
3) Turn off all kitchen appliances by switching the two plugs on right
hand end of counter to off
4) Unplug all electric heaters (we have 2 radiators and 2 blowers)
5) Make sure iron side gate is locked and padlocked
6) Make sure no one else is left in the building, including the toilets
7) Turn off all lights
8) Set alarm
9) Lock front door
10) Close shutters and padlock
Let me know if you have anything to add. I'll print it out, laminate
it and stick it on the front door so we all have a reminder.
