Of Returns and Bakers

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy had nodded slightly numbly, then
moved to look at the armor he mentioned then curiously tried it on. it
was a little loose around her chest and a little tight about the hips,
who ever it was originally made for had been proportioned a bit
differently then Andariel, but it otherwise fit like a dream and she
decided to wear it instead of what she had intended to wear. She
touches the Rapier again gently as she thinks then she shrugs and
attaches it to her pulling on the trenchcoat she got when she was
going through her gothi stage which covered the blade nicely. She nods
to herself and heads out igoring Uryu entirely and following the
address given to her. She blinks as she looks up at the building then
shrugs and walks inside "Ano I'm looking for Tsugami Shouichi?"

traveler7012001: A waiter with black hair, brown eyes, and what could
be summed up as a kind innocent face glanced at this, gave a small
smile, finished taking his current table's order, then walked over,
grinning happily, an aura of good and kindness flowing off the man. He
might or might not have spiritual power, but there's something there.
He feels, for lack of a better word, genuinely NICE. "That's me."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy gives a light smile and feels warmth
in her chest. not the tingly i wanna screw warmth but the calm patient
warmth, she knew without a doubt that if she hadn't met Ryu she
probably would have fallen hard. "I was asked by a mutual friend to
seek you out. I'm supposed to ask you to teach me to bake because
while i do know how and can do a little it's not nearly good enough."
she ponders "Oh and i was supposed to give you this." she fishes out
the paper from Ryu ad holds it out.

traveler7012001: He blinked a bit but nodded at that, then took the
paper in confusion grinned and nodded, giving her a firm hug then
grinning again. "Well then i'll teach you everything I know! But you
may have to help out at the restaraunt during your lessons a
little...." He frowned a bit, thinking. "But when should I teach
you...?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy squeaks as she hugged having not
expected it and winces lightly as the handle of the rapier under her
coat digs into her side a bit, "He asked me what i wanted to do since
i didn't qualify for university. when I admitted my guilty pleasure of
baking he sent me here." she admitted with no hesitation. She wanted
to be on even ground with this man.

traveler7012001: He noeds thoughtfully frowning some. "I see. I went
to cooking university once, but lost my memory after that. My sister
paid for it, as it was just the two of us." He smiled at the memory.
"After I got my memory back though, I thought it'd be nice to take up
my dream again, and combine it with my other one. So I made this
place. Restaraunt Agito." He grinned, cheerfully. From anyone else,
that speech probably would've been dramatic, and longer. Not in this
case.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy giggles lightly already liking this
strange friend of Ryu's, "Well at least you remembered ne? woulda
sucked if you learned all that then lost it completely forever." she
looks around, "Your resturant is beautiful." and she ment it. ever
since she walked in the door she's had the urge to stretch and settle
like a cat in the sun.

traveler7012001: He grins happily and nods cheerfully. "I'm glad you
think so! I wanted to make a place where everyone could belong. So I
made this place. I think there is a place everyone belongs to, they
just need to find it. So, until they can, they have this place." He
looks out the window at the bright blue sky, grinning happily.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andariel feels the smile bloom on her
lips, this place certainly was that, "Perhaps some of the people i
know will stop in from time to time." she could imagine even the
captains would stop in here if they new of it because of the comfort
it brings.

traveler7012001: He grins happily and nods. "I'm always happy to see
new people! So. When would you like to start learning? You'll have to
assist around the restaraunt, i'm afraid, but you'll receive a full
paycheck of course." He smiled sheepishly, apologetic.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods lightly, "That is completely
understandable and acceptable. Though i think i need to see the
kitchen if i'm going to learn there. I do have one other errand i must
run but after... perhaps tomarrow morning? I'm still a little
jetlagged."

traveler7012001: He grinned happily and nodded. "Tomorrow morning is
fine! Be here whenever you can, though not before 6, because I don't
get here till then to open up." He gave a cheerful little grin. "Come
on. I'll show you the kitchen now!" He lead her back into it happily.

a_different_kinda_mistress: She nods and follows him back then takes a
deep breath once they are away from the customers in the dining room,
"THere is one complication to the learning and working though... I
have a responsibility..." she trails off then gives herself a good
mental shaking. "I have to help protect the living world from those
who tresspass. And when they roar I muct meet them to dispach them...
I just... I wanted you to know so if you see me suddenly run out that
it's not because i'm being a fickle fluff brain."

traveler7012001: He looks at her very seriously before nodding in
understanding. "I understand. It's important, to protect people when
they're in trouble." He smiled gently. "You don't have to worry about
it."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blushes faintly Ryu had said he would
understand but... she wasn't used to such easy acceptance. that was
why she always felt the need to defend herself even before the need
was atually there. "Very much so yes."

traveler7012001: He nodded gently and smiled warmly to try and comfort
her before showing her around the kitchen, pointing out every part of
it individually in turn, explaining what it's for, smiling cheerfully
all the while.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy follows him around and listens
absorbing the information, when she caught her eyes wandering she
jerked them back up and gave herself a stern mental talking to .oO(You
are with Ryu. Well sort of. You're sleeping with Ryu! You should not
be checking out his friends! even if they do have a nice ass... no no
no! don't think that!)

traveler7012001: [Ah, poor Andy...] He looks back at her and smiles
once the tour is done. "And that's everything. I'll see you tomorrow
morning, then?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods with a smile, "Indeed. Tommarrow
morning. Just as soon as I wake up." which she wasn't sure would be
ebfore 10am given jet lag and the fact that she was likely to exaust
herself at Urahara's. "It was a pleasure to meet you Tsugami-sensei."
she couldn't resist pinning the tag on the end of his name. he /was/
going to be her teacher afterall.

traveler7012001: He grinned and nodded bowing to her in farewell and
smiling. "It'll be a pleasure to have you as my student."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy returns the bow then heads
out .oO(the question is going to be how well will i be able to
concentrate with him /right/ there? NO! You'll concentrate just fine!
Ryu is the one that distracts you not his friend!) she sighs lightly
at her own thoughts and heads towards Urahara's shop. Seeing no one
immediately about she shrugs and moves to the trap door opening it and
slipping through holding onto the ladder she reaches up pulling the
door mostly closed but open enough that when tessai or Urahara saw it
they would know someone was down there. After climbing all the way
down she shrugs off her coat and pulls the blade looking at it
critically then even though it's not a shinigami blade she touches it
gently softly speaking to it, "I think we're going to be great friends
you and i." She pauses then adds "I just have to learn to use you
properly first." once that is said she closes her eyes and goes
through the movements Ryu had had her try on the jet back.

traveler7012001: Blink popped back into normal space, holding a
picture and frowning promptly on finding himself looking at what
appeared to be, a wall. "....Well, that isn't right. That shouldn't be
like this at all." [I recall the arena having walls.]

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy's breathing is heavy, carrying even
on the still air of the training area. Her footfalls are still light
but echoing as she strains to keep her eyes closed and follow the
movements Ryu had had her try in the jet.

traveler7012001: He blinks and turns around, seeing someone and
walking over to see her. "Uhm. Excuse me? I seem to be a little off in
my teleporting. Where, precisely, am I?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy freezes then opens her icy blue eyes
"Under Kisake Urahara's shop." she anwsered honestly since she had no
reason to lie to this odd blonde man.

traveler7012001: "Interesting. CLOSE to Soul Society, but not quite
there. My teleporting must be off due to the universe ending and
restarting a while back. Uhm. I'm Dale, but most people call me Blink.
Ahh! You're ANDARIEL! I know you! Nice to meet you!" He grins
brightly, offering his hand to shake.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks at him and takes a step back
"Do I know you?"

traveler7012001: "Well, you do now! Uhm. Sorry. I don't see things the
right way all the time. We HAVE met, but this is our first time
meeting. I was the one who called your boyfriend earlier and asked him
to look after my cat."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks "Oh the onebeing chased by
romans." so yes apparently Ryu trusted her enough to be honest about
that call.

traveler7012001: "Yes, that's me! Centurions. They've got a
surprisingly GOOD foot speed, did you know that?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy slowly nods "That is what they were
known for yes. If you're not trying to look for here then what are you
doing here?"

traveler7012001: "I said! The universe ended last week and got
rebooted, remember? As such, my teleporting seems to be a little bit
off. Instead of getting the Soul Society, I got here."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks at him, "The universe didn't
end."

traveler7012001: "It DID. But, it was fixed, so you don't have to
worry about it. Well. So far as we know there's nothing to worry
about, but well, stuff. We could be wrong. Still don't know what
caused it..." He trails off and frowns, looking thoughtful.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy sighs "You really aren't making any
sense. Regardless what buisness have you with the SOul Society? You do
know they don't take kindly to people barging in their unexpectedly
correct?"

traveler7012001: "Well, yes, yes, but i'm looking for a boy's soul.
It's important. Stuff, Anyways, we were supposed to save his life,
but, well, stuff happened, we couldn't get a genetics lab in time, and
now for some reason his whole timeline is locked in place, including
his death, which it shouldn't be, should be impossible for anyone but
one of the three of us, and none of us DID it, AND he's still alive
when we know he died. In any case. Uhm. Stuff. And I need to find his
soul. It's not in any of the places it'd be, his body is...Completely
gone, no mental traces or essence or spirit traces, so, now it's come
to looking for his soul. So that's why i'm going there."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy rubs her freehand over her eyes and
sheaths the rapier, "Let me see if Urahara is upstairs. He has a way
to open a portal to Soul society." she wasn't sure but Ryu called this
man a friend so she would give him the benefit of the doubt. She turns
and heads towards the ladder.

traveler7012001: "You haven't learned to do it yet? Well, then again,
you might not have gotten your powers, so you might not be able to.
How early is this for you, anyways?" He follows after her, humming
gently.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy stops and turns a storm brewing in
her eyes "Look Ryu said you are a friend. that is the ONLY reason i'm
not telling you to bugger off." then she turns and heads for the
impossibly long ladder again.

traveler7012001: "So early days then. Okay. You look like he said you
do by the way. Very beautiful."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy tries hard not to blush as she
finally reaches the foot of the ladder but then she pauses leaning
against it to catch her breath before attempting the long climb.

traveler7012001: "I can make it a bit quicker, if you like. " He
smiled happily.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy opens her eyes and glares,
"Considering what you said about your targetting being off I'd rather
not. Knowing your luck i'd end up in the edo era."

traveler7012001: He frowned slightly at that, but thought about it.
"Hm. You may have a point about that."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy closes her eyes again resting. This
guy... is annoying. how can he act like he's known her for a long time
when they never met before? She sighs as she opens her eyes then turns
and begins the long climb up the ladder.

traveler7012001: He hums softly and begins climbing up after her and,
not liking the silence, tries to find something to talk about. "I see
he gave you the rapier. It's very well made, you know. So's the armor.
But, you find that out later."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy frowns, "Why do you say that like
it's a title? What is so special about this Rapier as opposed to any
other?" she asks as she continues to climb.

traveler7012001: "Well, it WAS made by the greatest weaponsmith to
ever live. You could kill God with that. Or the devil. And I mean that
quite literally, having met both but I don't like remembering that, so
i'll stop now. So was the armor. He had help, but I should stop
there."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy looks down at him, for the first time
ever actually praising her small chest as it allowed her to look down
at him without having to be obvious then shakes her head slightly and
continues climbing.

traveler7012001: He hums softly as he climbs up after her, trying to
think of more conversation topics and working out just how off his
teleporting is with the universe restructuring. "You'll make SURE he
looks after my cat, won't you?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy lets out a rough chuckle "Didn't he
say your cat had a new owner?"
traveler7012001: He frowned deeply at that reminder."Yes, he does.
Aino...... But I don't trust her with him."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy can't resist asking "Why not?"

traveler7012001: "Given the various cuts, scrapes, bumps, and bruises
i've seen on him sometimes?! She does not take NEARLY good enough care
of him."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy frowns "I will remind Ryu of his
promise."

traveler7012001: He nods firmly and sighs in relief, smiling. "Thank
you. Very much."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods and continues to climb. Her mind
wandering to her new teacher before she firmly pulled it back.

traveler7012001: Blink hums softly to himself to keep the silence
away, hunting for another thing to say.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy is beginning to wonder what Urahara
was thinking with this stupid ass ladder being a mile or two long but
she gets to the top and pushes open the door the rest of the way....
and therefore startling the very man she was looking for because he'd
not even noticed it was open in the first place...

traveler7012001: "Oh we're finally at the top! Good! ....."He pauses,
looking down thoughtfully. "You know, this is a very long ladder,
really."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy tries not to laugh as she climbs out
if only because she'd been thinking that same thing, "Blame Urahara.
he does nothing the easy way."

a_different_kinda_mistress: There is a protest "Hey i do everthing the
right way. Easy doesn't mean right. Andarial-chan you're so mean to
me!"

traveler7012001: He climbs out as well, then smiles brightly on seeing
him "Urahara! It's been ages! The last time I saw you was before.
Well, that WAS a lifetime ago now. We didn't really talk though, you
were talking to-" He stops, abruptly." To another friend of mine.
Hello!"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Urahara stops trying to play the injured
party as he looks to Blink "Blink? What were you doing in the training
area? Andarial-chan didn't do anythin untold to you did she?" that was
anwsered by Andariel herself as she smacked him hard upside the head,
"Urahara you letcher!"

traveler7012001: "He remembers me! No, no, she's seeing Ryu. You
remember him of course, but I don't think he was using any illusions
when you saw him, so there's that...But hello again! At any rate, due
to the universe ending my teleporting is off and I need to get to the
soul society."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blushes as Urahara looks at her
critically... how did the younger quincy meet Ryu of all people? Then
Urahara looks to Blink "Of course I remember you. Rather hard not to
when you showed up on the radar and Destino beat me over the head and
made me swear that i saw nothing." he wasn't about to question the
whole Universe ending comment, hadn't he himself felt something odd
about a week ago? anyways he nods to Blink "It will take me three
days. Is that going to be a problem?"

traveler7012001: "Not at all. I have nothing to do. And it will allow
me to keep an eye on Aino...." He growled softly.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Urahara nods and goes to gather what and
who he would need. Andy just blinks and then shrugs, "Well I suppose i
should" yawns "Get home and get some sleep. my workstudy starts in the
morning."

traveler7012001: He waved lightly. "Tell Shouichi hello for me!"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks and just nods, today was
getting weirder and weirder. she could only hope she would get home
and to sleep before anything too insane happens to her but given her
luck today she's not entirely sure /that/ is going to be possible.

traveler7012001: He stretches and walks out, humming softly, searching
out his cat. And his greatest nemesis, the cat's current owner.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy slips off towards home her trenchcoat
covering the rapier once again.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andariel gets home without further misshap
and the following morning she strangely woke up around 8:30 and takes
her rapier and heads down to the city hall to get a very special
permit that would allow her to carry the sword openly. It only took
her about half an hour to convince them and she walks out again her
sword proudly worn and the permit in her pocket. She is humming as she
heads towards the resturant.

traveler7012001: [Who to be, who to be....] Shouichi hums softly to
himself as he bows another on the go customer out, wiping down the
tables of the restraunt now that things have quieted for a time.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy walks into the resturant a smile on
her lips, she'd opted for casual clothing but perhaps unsurprisingly
beneath them again was the armor, one could never be to careful after
all. Seeing Shouichi she smiles brighter and waves lightly "Good
morning."

traveler7012001: He grins and waves to her happily, finishing cleaning
the last table. "Good morning Andariel!"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy smiles brightly and then taps a
finger against her lip, "Oh I was supposed to tell you Blink? Yes that
was his name Blink says hello."

traveler7012001: "Ahh. So he's in town again?" He nods, looking
thoughtful. "Strange. Usually when he is, he comes by in the
mornings...."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy looks thoughtful, "He did say
something about a cat with a cruel new owner."

traveler7012001: He nodded, fixing her some tea and setting it out.
"Yes, he usually comes in during the mornings and begins ranting about
the new owner. At night, as far as I know, he keeps an eye on his cat.
Or, former cat, I suppose?" He looked thoughtful.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy taps her finger more against her lip,
"I saw him last night. From what he said that new owner needs to have
the cat taken away from her since she's obviously abusing it."

traveler7012001: He nodded. "He said the same to me as well, so i've
suggested he take it back but he gets quiet when I do that and starts
muttering."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods softly, "I think there is more
to that cat then he lets on."

traveler7012001: "I've asked him about it but he's always just said it
was complicated and stopped talking after that..."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy frowns softly "I'm worried. Maybe
once I find my own place I can try to find the cat. No animal should
be abused."

traveler7012001: He nods solemnly. "I'm sure both of them would
appreciate it."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods once matter settled, she must
find an apartment, Uryu is a neat freak and beyond that allergic so
she could never have a cat in the house now, then she goes to find
this cat and takes him home with her. And if the woman comes to try to
take the cat back... Andy will just have to kick her ass. "Now where
should we start on those lessons?"

traveler7012001: He grinned cheerfully and lead her back. "I'll show
you."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy smiles, that grin of his is
infectious, and follows him back trying like hell to keep her eyes off
his ass. "Ok."

traveler7012001: "Now, the first step in baking anything, of course,
is preparing the dough."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods "If the dough isn't perfect then
the food prepared with it won't be."

traveler7012001: "Exactly. It's important to put a good heart into the
food as well." He looks thoughtful, wondering how to explain that.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks at him, "You mean like cooking
with love."

traveler7012001: He grins brightly and nods. "Exactly!"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy smiles glad she understood that

traveler7012001: He hums softly and begins showing her how to prepare
the dough.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy watches carefully then mimics as she
was better with hands on learning then just observing.

traveler7012001: He watches her, then nods, making minor corrections
here and there as she does so.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy is a very studious young woman...
even being distracted as she is by his proximity

traveler7012001: He smiles happily and nods watching her. "You're very
good."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blushes faintly "I want to be good.
So making myself be that way is the only option yea?"

traveler7012001: He smiles and nods cheerfully. "That's true. You
should try your best!"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods "Indeed that is true."

traveler7012001: He smiled happily and continued on through how to
work with the dough, offering various tips and tricks on how to do it.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy is sweating at this point .oO(Oh
fuck... come on focus Andariel focus on the dough not him. you're
dating Ryu you really can't be oggling his friend.) lost in her
internal pep-talk she had started fairly beating the dough
unintentionally.

traveler7012001: He blinks slightly in concern and winces, stopping
her) Ahhh, Andariel...Perhaps you should take a break for a little
while?

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy comes out of her little pep-talk and
blinks almost owlishly at him, "A break? Why?"

traveler7012001: "You seemed...." He trailed off "Ahh.... A little,
out of it I suppose?" gives an apologetic smile.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blushes darkly contrasting with the
smidgen of flour that had somehow ended up on her cheek

traveler7012001: He smiled happily. "It's fine. Just it and take a
break for now.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy is very embarassed as she moves to
wash her hands and get the flour off her face.

traveler7012001: (moves to continue baking, balancing it with cooking,
and starting to take orders and serve customers as they start to come
in for lunch, smiling happily)

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blushes darker realizing she was
already not living up to expectations and banishes the blush firmly
moving out to help take orders, she might be absolutely useless
cooking but this she could do without getting lost in thought and
fucking it up.

traveler7012001: He smiles as she begins to help and hums to himself
as he moves about expertly, cheerful and smiling that happy smile at
every customer.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy moves about a sweet smile on her lips
even though there is a faint blush on her cheeks as she takes orders
and in general makes small lighthearted talk with every customer she
serves. Now... she does nearly stumble coming back out of the kitchen
the first time but catches herself her blush darkening, and
fortunately she didn't spill the order.

traveler7012001: He gives her an encouraging smile after she recovers
before going back to his work. "You're doing fine."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy smiles back as she takes the order to
the table the family sitting there chuckling and playfully teasing her
nearmiss with meeting
the floor. Andy pouts appropriately at them and makes a jibe about
keeping the order from getting mixed up which got another laugh.

traveler7012001: [Apologies. Stuff happening, plus a little of unsure
what to do.] Shouichi smiles, happy at seeing her enjoy herself and
bows a family out as they finish their food and leave.

a_different_kinda_mistress: [it's ok. well ryu was going to come back
yea? well he could come back while she's at the resturant and come in]
Andy moves around now a little more sure of herself as she takes
orders and serves. It felt so good to actually be doing something
rather then wandering around the house wondering what she was going to
do with her life.

traveler7012001: [He was. (nods) Just feel rather terrible bringing
him back in without doing his scene. Hrm...] He smiles at her happily
as he finishes checking out another customer. "I'm glad you seem to be
having fun."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy sighs softly after the dinner rush
was over her feet were aching but pleasantly so. She takes a seat in
the kitchen for a much needed and long overdue break. She was supposed
to earlier but then with the dinner rush she didn't want to leave
Shouichi short handed so she worked through it. She mumbles to herself
and gets up heading over to throw together a quick meal, she'd really
eat later when she wasn't under the time limit of the break.

traveler7012001: Shouichi smiled at her softly and moved to help her
get an actual meal ready for herself. "I did tell you I could handle
the dinner crowd."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods with a light blush "Yes but
that's one of the terms of learning no? that I help out in the
resturant. that includes the rushes sensei."

traveler7012001: "Yes, but if you work yourself to exhaustion, you'll
be too tired to learn. Knowing your limits is helpful too."

traveler7012001: Ryu pressed the door open with one hand and walked in
slowly, favoring his rightside, hair tinted slightly blue, spiritual,
magical, and other energies pouring off him like mad, if invisible,
moving to sit, very slowly, in his usual seat, eyes closed. "Shouichi.
Tea. Sweet."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy recognizes his voice though it seems
slightly off. She looks at Shouichi, "I can take it to him. I.." she
blushes lightly "I've missed him." She moves to get the tea ready
neglecting the meal prepared because she really wants to see Ryu.

traveler7012001: Shouichi winces, having recognized that tone. "Uhm,
you may not want to do that, Andariel-san...."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks "Why not?"

traveler7012001: "When he comes in talking like that he can be a
bit....Strange."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks and cocks her head "I've dealt
with strange before. What are you really trying to hide from me
sensei?"

traveler7012001: "He can just be a little...Strange, that's all. It's
probably b est to see it for yourself."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods "The tea? I'm guessing you know
how to make it just the way he prefers it yes?"

traveler7012001: He smiled and nodded, showing her how to fix it,
putting it on a tray for her. "There you go."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods softly and carries the tray out
carefully setting the tea before Ryu taking note of his changes. "Here
you are."

reaches out for his tea, eyes closed, picking it up, sipping it
slowly.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy cocks her head, "You were the one who
suggested I learn from Shouichi-sensei how to bake. Part of the terms
of him teaching was helping out here in the resturant. Should I not be
here Ryu?"

traveler7012001: "Ah. Yes, yes, I did suggest that, didn't I.....I
remember now..." He sips his tea slowly and leans back, tiredly. "Has
it been going well?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blushes as she remembers, "I think
Shouichi-sensei might think I'm too violent for baking. But other then
that yes it seems to be going well. The resturant has been very busy
today."

traveler7012001: "It always is. Shouichi has this....Personality. He
believes people are good. And that the world is. And that there are
places for everyone in it. And because he believes it, so do they. I,
am still uncertain how he does it."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy thinks about it for a moment, "It's
probably because he has a nice feel. He makes you feel like everything
is going to be alright because of the aura around him." she sounds
thoughtful but even she had felt it.

traveler7012001: "An interesting way to put it. Yes. Perhaps that
would be the best way...."

a_different_kinda_mistress: She blinks at him, "Is something wrong
Ryu?"

traveler7012001: "The boy is dead. Murdered, possibly, but possibly
simply died due to the illness he had. We would have had time to cure
it had....Had certain people lent their assistance instead of denying
it. But i'm not sure which it was. Regardless of which it was, the boy
is dead."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy cocks her head lightly "Which boy and
how dead is dead exactly?"

traveler7012001: "Aizawa Shou. 10 years old. Uncertain. No remains of
his body, nor mind. There is a possibility his soul still exists. His
personal timeline is locked off so we cannot simply pluck him out of
it, either..."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy cocks her head softly then murmurs
"Soul Society maybe?" she scratches the back of her neck as she
ponders it, "If it's been found then it's there some where but the
Ryukai districts are so big and there are so many... he could be
anywhere..." she mutters more to herself though he would probably be
able to hear her.

traveler7012001: "If it still exists. There is the chance it was
destroyed as well.... I didn't expect one of them to show up.
Surprised me. Several times..."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy sighs and scratches the back of her
neck. "It can't hurt to ask can it?"

traveler7012001: "Never does. I'll have it looked into."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods softly, "I could ask Urahara...
he might be able to make the right connections without having to fight
with all of the gotei 13... though i think the man Blink will be going
there. I remember him asking Urahara for a gate to Seireitei."

traveler7012001: "Blink? Oh, well, that will most definitely be
interesting to see...From a fair distance, mind you..."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks at him confused but shrugs it
off. her hand moving subconsiously to press against her stomach as if
that could mask the rumble from within with her hand alone.

traveler7012001: "You're hungry. You should have something to eat."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blushes "I know. I plan to. it's just
the dinner rush was really busy and I didn't want to leave Shouichi-
sensei short handed so I worked through my dinner break."

traveler7012001: He smiles and takes her hand, squeezing it gently.
"Go. Eat."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods softly "Hai I will, I just
wanted to see you." she blushes darkly realizing how frakkin clingy
that made her seem.

traveler7012001: He smiled softly and nodded gently. "Thank you."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods and moves back to the kitchen
wondering idly why Shouichi-sensei said Ryu was strange when he was
like that, he was just Ryu to her tho the blue highlights were really
quite attractive.

traveler7012001: Shouichi smiles warmly and sets a plate of food out
in front of her to eat.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy sits down absently and begins to eat
as she'd all but been ordered to do. She'd intended to anyways but
somehow since Ryu had said that it felt almost as if she was compelled
to eat and strangely she didn't feel odd about that at all.

traveler7012001: Shouichi watched her eat carefully before speaking.
"Are you alright?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy pauses as she looks up at him, "Of
course I am. Why wouldn't I be?"

traveler7012001: He smiled warmly. "You seemed a little distracted, is
all."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy shrugs, "Ryu has blur highlights, I'm
guessing they're new since I haven't ever seen them before but they
look good." she goes back to eatting.

traveler7012001: "Ahh." He nodded slightly, moving to fix something
for himself as well.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy continues to methodically work her
way through her meal. "I don't think he knew who i was at first. he
started to say three different names before he seemed to know who it
was standing before him."

traveler7012001: "Yes, he can get like that at times..."

traveler7012001: Ryu stirred awake from his....Well. Some people would
refer to it as sleep, but it wasn't, exactly. Though, in this place,
it was closer than it would be in others. He felt....Something.
Potential. He'd have to investigate it later. He opened his eyes and
touched his cup, feeling it cooler than he'd like, using a bit of
magic to heat it up, sitting up and opening his eyes, sipping it
slowly, then sighing gently. "There. That's....Nice."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks and then smiles softly at him,
"Can I get you anything else Ryu? Or will that be all?" yes she knew
that he'd only asked for tea but it's entirely possible he might have
changed his mind. she stands there her hands folded together as she
waits for an anwser.

traveler7012001: He turns to her and smiles warmly, grateful.
"Something to eat, would be most appreciated Andariel. Thank you very
much." He blinked slightly, realizing, a few things at once, his mind
starting to come fully into focus again, taking a strand of hair,
noting it's changed to his natural blue. "Oh. I, apologize as well.
You have been honest with me from the beginning but I have not told
you the truth, at one point previously. I, wish to apologize and ask
your forgiveness for doing so. Do you, remember the hollow back in
Rome, and the man you met who destroyed it?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy's cheeks take a light blush as she
nods "Merlin." she did remember. and remembered the way she'd felt
stired by him even as she desperately tried not to be.

traveler7012001: "Yes. A lie. I DO, and did, know Merlin, sort of,
it's, slightly complicated...Temporal..." He trailed off, then shook
his head. "Besides the point. Apologies. I am still collecting myself.
I was that man. Blue, is my natural hair color. I use a little magic
to make it look different. It is... A somewhat uncommon hair color.
Changing it seemed, when I originally made the decision, an obvious
choice."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy's hands lower to her sides as her icy
eyes appraise him, obviouly weighing her choices. she takes a deep
breath, and asks just one question, one that would make her decision
one way or the other, "Why did you lie to me?"

traveler7012001: "I was afraid of driving you away, or making you fear
me." He looked at his tea, for some reason, he refuses to entertain
the thoughts at the edges of his mind. "I, care for you deeply. I did
not wish for you to leave me, because of what I can do."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy's hands settle on her hips "I've seen
things that would make most people tremble in terror and sign
themselves into the nearest nut house.... abilities do not scare me.
What makes me mad is that you lied to me. That even with my honesty
you did not feel that you could in anyway trust me not to run away
from you. That hurts Ryu it hurts a lot." she takes a deep breath as
she staves off the tears trying to fall. Her voice though does tremble
revealing her true state of mind as she speaks again, "I will get you
something to eat." she turns and heads back to the kitchen her mind in
turmoil.

traveler7012001: Shouichi looks at her as she comes back into the
kitchen, stnaindg up and going to her quickly. "Andy? What's wrong?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy shakes her head "Nothing," she lied
bravely to keep her turmoil from spilling out into Shouichi, "Ryu
would like dinner as well." she murmurs softly. "I think I might take
that break you suggested. I need some air." not even realizing it her
pale eyes were begging him for time alone.

traveler7012001: He reaches out to touch her shoulder gently, but
sighs and nods gently. "If you want to talk about something, i'll be
right here. I'll take him his dinner. You get some fresh air." He
smiled softly.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods softly "Thank you sensei." she
scoots over to her coat and blades slipping on the latter then the
former before stepping out the back door, Shouichi was suck a nice
guy, if it weren't... if she wasn't... was she though? was that
another lie? She wasn't sure what to think so she makes her way out of
the alley and heads towards the small park nearby where she sits down
on the bench with her head in her hands.

traveler7012001: Blink sat down beside her, pushing a cup of cocoa
into her hands. "Hello again."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy looks up her hands instinctively
curling around the cup "You have a strange habit of popping up. I'm
beginning to think you're stalking me." the joke was half hearted at
best as she looks back at the ground. "Did Urahara help you as you
needed him to? and did you find your cat?"

traveler7012001: "Drink it. It'll be a few days till he has the portal
ready. I'm fairly sure i've got my teleportation back down though, so
I may not need it. I'll test a little more first. I did find him. He
is safely at his current home, resting. I left some shrimp in a bowl
for him. Aino, that bitch, is sleeping at a friend's house, so he's
safe for the next few days while she's over there." He looks more than
a little angry at the thought of Aino, fingering his necklace,
drinking from his own cup.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy brings the cup to her lips sipping at
it slowly, "I'm glad he's alright." She was trying not to think about
the strange situation she now found herself in. on one hand... their
entire 'relationship' was based on lies. on the other... she wasn't
sure she could walk away from him. and it is tearing her heart to
pieces.

traveler7012001: "He loves you, by the way. More than he's willing to
admit to himself, but he's...Well. Do you believe in rein...No, it
might be best not to tell you of your past lives. Regardless. He does
love you. More than most people in existence are capable of loving
anyone, or anything." He looked up at the sky, gazing at it, humming a
song idly.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy's hands shake "You don't lie...
continuously... to people you love." she hisses lightly as the hot
cocoa splashes out on her hands but makes not move to clean it up.

traveler7012001: "He lied once. And once only. And do not spill my
cocoa." He pushes her back onto the grass, laying back with her.
"Things that would drive people mad? You? The things he's seen..." He
shakes his head. "Ahh, Andy. I liked you better the last time we met.
You had a sharper tongue, but a better sense of humor."

a_different_kinda_mistress: "I'm the same woman i was when we met
yesterday Blink." she squeaks as she pushed back and shifts pushing
the handle of the rapier out of her ribs.

traveler7012001: "Not yesterday. Your last life. You had blue hair
then. You had your wings, briefly. But you died afterwards." He looks
up at the sky. "It's a beautiful blue sky."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy looks at him questioningly "Are you
even sure I'm who you think i was Blink? I'm just a quincy with little
adeptness with my own bow. which makes me a failure of a quincy at
that."

traveler7012001: He let out a laugh. "You are who you are now. And you
are who you were before. And before that. And before that. And before
that as well." He turned his head to look at her. "You know, you
should dye your hair blonde."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy near chokes over the sudden change in
conversation "Why?" she'd never even bothered with her hair color. it
was what it was and there was no point in worrying over it.

traveler7012001: "You look better with blonde hair, of course." He
sipped his cocoa, looked at it, teleported a coke in in it's place.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy flinches "What is wrong with the way
I look?"

traveler7012001: "Nothing. It's just i'm used to you having blonde
hair of all the times i've met you.: Soda?" He summons a coke to his
hand, offering it to her.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy is.... confused. very very confused
as she takes the soda. "But you just said the last time you met me i
had blue hair."

traveler7012001: "Yes, and you have it this time. But all the OTHER
times you've been a blonde. And had wings. I liked your wings, you
know. They were very pretty and feathery.... I'm not sure if I liked
them best when they were black or white though. White looked good on
you, but the black wings gave you that certain something I don't know
what." He sipped his soda and nodded gently.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks as she looks over at him,
still very confused "I see. I don't know how any of that helps now
though." she wasn't sure she believed it either but right now she
needed to figure out what to do with Ryu who was undoubtably being
served by Shouichi right now which would probably make it evident to
him she was either needing space or as a scan of the building would
tell him she's not even there anymore.

traveler7012001: He sighs softly. "Alright then. Since you're going to
be difficult...And, honestly, he'd told me you were perfect, I
expected you to be....Well, as perfect as he went on about. ....Not
that he went on much, he rarely rambles like I do, but still." He
stopped and sighed. "Okay. Step one. How do you feel about him? Do you
love him?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy doesn't anwser immediately,
indicating she is thinking about it rather then shooting from the hip
so to speak. "I honestly don't know. I mean I care... cared?... about
him deeply. I don't know if it is... was?... love yet. But it hurt so
bad to know that I'd been completely honest with him and he didn't
feel that it was common curtesy to be just as honest with the one you
indicate you want to be with."

traveler7012001: "He is not used to people. Or mortals. Or love. He
was, once, but....Time changes people. And the War changed all of us.
You're the first person not involved with me or the Doctor, or the
plan, that he's interacted with in....Quite some time. And in any
case, he didn't lie. Not here." He uses one hand, tapping the center
of her chest lightly. "You knew who he was. You know who he is."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Strangely she arches a brow at him, almost
channeling her former self "You just wanted to touch my chest didn't
ya you perv." then she blinks wondering where that had come from and
hoping she didn't just insult him.

traveler7012001: "Ah, there's one of the yous I remember!" He grinned
widely, cheerfully. "And your spark is back as well! Very nice!" He
sits up, clinking his can of coke to hers in a toast. "Cheers!"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks absolutely confused. She sips
her soda as she tries to figure out what just happened...

traveler7012001: "Now then. I am determined not to let two close
friends of mine fall into depression. ....Granted, Ryu's always
serious, so i'm not sure he'd fall so much as sashay... So. You like
him. You did ont tell him you were a quincy till you knew each other a
while. He likes you. He did not tell you he had magic powers. It evens
out. Further, he would rather kill himself than cause you to hurt in
any way." He stopped, looking thoughtful. "Of course, then again, he
IS immortal, so it'd be impossible for him to do. But he'd try."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy sits up her face a mask, the same
mask which she faced hollows with with nothing being given away, "No
it does not even out. because he lied about WHO he is. i omitted a
small fact that matters to only quincys, shinigamis and hollows. it in
no way is who i am."

traveler7012001: "Of course it is. You've said it yourself. You ARE a
quincy. He IS Ryu. His magic. His power is a part of him in the same
way your powers are. If not even more so. His curse. Oh. You're, not
really a quicy either. Your power is where it originally CAME from,
but it was used for different things, then. It's why you're terrible
with a bow. Yours is the source, not the tiny trickle that Uryuu has."
He frowns softly, considering the various consequences of this line of
conversation, but shrugs, deciding not to stop.

a_different_kinda_mistress: "I am a quincy yes. but my powers as a
quincy are the tiniest part of me. I was honest to him entirely. i
shared myself with him unconditionally. He continued to hide." Andy
was vaguely annoyed and not really understanding this source buisness
Blink was going on about.

traveler7012001: He sighs softly and looks at her. "He has hidden none
of his identity from you. You know more of his heart than anyone human
can claim. If your powers are as tiny a part of you as you say, then
his are as well. If his powers matter as much as you say, then so do
yours."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy throws the can in a flare of temper
"I don't bloody care about his powers! I care that he bloody lied to
me! Was i not worth his honesty?!" she surges to her feet clearly
aggitated.

traveler7012001: The can bounces off his forehead and he looks at her.
"Of course you are. Why do you think he told you? Why do you even
think he SPEAKS to you? If he didn't care for you, he wouldn't have
given you his little tour of Rome, or given you your rapier, or gotten
you a teacher to teach you how to do what you enjoy. There are 7
billion humans on this planet, Andariel, and I know the hearts, minds
and thoughts of every single one. I know where they've been, where
they're going, where they are born, and where they will die. I care
for each and every one. Ryu is not nearly so broad in his emotions."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy sinks down onto her knees her face
hidden in her hands "Then why did he lie to me?"

traveler7012001: "He has not seen you since before Atlantis was first
born. He thinks you'll hate him."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy peeks through her fingers "At...
atlantis... the mythical lost continent?"

traveler7012001: "Not a myth. I've been there. He was alive when
people first lived there. He tried to stop it from sinking. Failed,
though. Too much working against him. Much to much." He shakes his
head slightly.

a_different_kinda_mistress: "Why would i hate him?"

traveler7012001: "Because he's changed from when he last knew you.
Gotten older. More powerful. Learned much. And he was in the War, like
I was. Hah. That's enough to make anyone fear." He gave a faint ghost
of a smile, tiredly.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy surges back to her feet not sure
which she would rather do. but both things that crossed her mind
required her going back to the resturant. She idly reaches down to
touch the redmark on Blinks forehead where her can had hit him then
moves off obviously one way or the other her mind had been made up, if
only she'd drop the mask so people could see her decision. She walks
in and directly to Ryu. the determination in her steps probably making
more then a few people think she was angry as hell... and well she is
displeased just not on that level... yet....

traveler7012001: Ryu looks up at her, eyes not showing anything, but
paler than normal, dinner sitting, untouched, in front of him. He's
been waiting. If his emotions could be read, there'd be fear, and
sadness, mixed and mingled together, but he waits for her.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy looks down at the meal "I think what
needs saying should be said in private Ryu." She looks up at him her
face still that perfect mask.

traveler7012001: "As you wish." He stands up, Shouichi looking at
them, concerned.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods and leads the way out through
the kitchen and into the alley way behind the resturant. Once out
there she turns to face him. She looks stern, "I really really hate

that you lied to me."

traveler7012001: He nods slightly, eyes tired but faces her, back
straight. "Yes. I know you do."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy nods and her hand flies
intentionally, the sound of flesh hitting flesh echoing around
them.... then she threw herself at him and hugged him for all she was
worth. she couldn't decide rather to slap him for lying to her, or to
hug him and let him know she wasn't going anywhere... she settled for
both. "Don't ever lie to me again."

traveler7012001: He blinks, more amazed at the hug than the slap, his
arms slipping around her gently, hesitant. "A-As you wish, my lady..."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy's cheek rests against his chest, this
was one of her reasons for liking taller guys actually was this very
position, "I don't know what happened in whatever past life but i'm
living in the here and now, I think it would be a good idea for you to
do the same."

traveler7012001: He smiles softly and strokes her head gently. "If you
are here, then I shall surely do my best..."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy's eyes slip shut before she lets out
a wry sounding chuckle "And maybe you can clarify what the hell he
ment by the source of quincy power because that was more then a little
confusing."

traveler7012001: "Ah. You, were talking with Blink then, I take it?"
He smiled wryly, stroking her head gently, not sure whether to thank
him, or kill him. Probably it would be the former, as usual.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy snorts lightly "More like he showed
up and demanded I listen to him deteremined not to let either of us
fall into depression I guess. He rambles.... a lot...."

traveler7012001: He smirks softly. "He can be very forceful sometimes.
And, really, there's no real way to stop him rambling if he wants to.
I've tried."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy looks up with a chuckle then reaches
up and taps Ryu on the nose "Like you've room to talk. I bet you can
be just as forceful when you want to be."

traveler7012001: He grinned softly and leaned to kiss her gently.
"Well, that is true in itself."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy returns the kiss sweetly then giggles
"As nice as this is you have a dinner to eat and i'm supposed to be
working."

traveler7012001: "I was hoping to have you fix the dinner. Still.
Either of these would involve us going back in.... So one supposes we
should."

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blushes softly and leads him back in
before reaching up to tug his blue forelock, "I like it better like
this. and now i don't have to feel guilty for being aroused by
'Merlin' when we were in Rome."

traveler7012001: "Hm." He smiles and snaps his fingers, his hair
shifting to it's full length, changing to it's true blue color. "So,
rather like this, then?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy squirms a little that faint blush
coming back to her cheeks as they stand in the kitchen "hai... like
that."

traveler7012001: He smiles and kisses her softly. "Then I shall leave
it like this."

a_different_kinda_mistress: [[which will probably be a shock for
shouichi]] Andy returns the kiss softly and then begins to putter
around the kitchen gathering ingredients for Ryu's meal.

traveler7012001: He smiles and moves to return to his seat, Shouichi
watching him walk past, then going to Andy, cautious."Is everything
alright now?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy blinks at him, "I'm lost huh?" she
had already put it behind her to focus on Ryu's meal.

traveler7012001: He sighed and smiled in relief, then started showing
her what to do.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy patters around "Do you think i should
dye my hair blonde?" she asks idly curious on what he thought as they
cooked

traveler7012001: He blinks, looks at her, looks around, the points to
himself. "Me?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: "Yea you."

traveler7012001: "Uhm. Well. Possibly? Do you want to?"

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy shrugs "I dunno. my hair's never been
tampered with."

traveler7012001: "Well then. It couldn't hurt to try a new experience,
right?" He grinned cheerfully.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Andy shrugs "I guess. but i dunno anything
about it."

traveler7012001: He ponders this. "Maybe you can can find someone who
does? Or go to a hair salon. They might do it."
