Having waited outside the hotel for sometime now, he sees her exiting
and quickly moves to greet her without seeming suspicious. He acts as
if he is coming from one of the other streets and pouts checking his
pockets "Pardon but.. could a poor priest bother you for a cup of
tea.. it seems the local ruffians have gotten away with my wallet
again.." He sighed as if frustrated and
meets her eyes. {tez}

Alexi could feel the suspicion rolling off of her and just continued
to smile sweetly, a "patron bearing sweets" sort of smile. {tez}

Alexi nodded to her "of course.. i know this city as if it was the
back of my hand.. i grew up here since i was but a boy.. " Now that
wasn't exactly a lie.. Since he did grow up in this city... just far
off into the future of it. Alexi began to lead her along the streets
and waving and bowing when told hello as "Padre Alexi" or Father
Alexi. "So tell me.. what brings you all the way to Rome?..did you
come on a pilgrimage or something?" he asked entirely curious {tez}

he nods with a smile and continues to lead her on, never once straying
from the populated streets until he arrives at one of his favorite
restaurants. The owner seeing him smiles and comes over to greet him
personally. "Il padre Alexi, come state facendo? così che cosa lo
porta al mio negozio?" "Sono venuto per alcuno del mio tè usuale, se
voi don' la mente di t ed io sono inoltre nell'azienda di nuovo
ospite. è su un pellegrinaggio qui dal Giappone che sto indovinando."
"Il Giappone? hmph that' la s piuttosto differente per quanto va ma
chi sono io da giudicare."
(Translation: Father Alexi, how are you doing? so what brings you to
my shop? I have come for some of my usual tea, if you don't mind, and
i am also in the company of a new guest. she is on a pilgrimage here
from japan i am guessing. Japan? hmph that's rather different as far
as it goes but who am i to judge.) {tez}

The restaurant owner smiled and nodded her her "ahh forgive me.. im
just do used to speaking normally.. now come in come in.. you and
father Alexi are welcome here whenever you like.." he smiled and led
them to a table. Alexi chuckling softly "Vincente.. there is no need
for such..." "no.. father you helped me turn this place around.. you
deserve the honor you earn.." {tez}

The pair blinked and began to laugh softly as the owner set down a
pair of menu's on the table then walked back to work. he would send
another to get their order. Alexi moved to the table offered to them
and pulled out the chair for her. {tez}

Alexi shook his head slightly "no you don't.. i just could tell from

accent " he spoke. he could also tell from her mannerisms but he felt

Andarial just shrugs one shoulder, "I've actually only seen a little
of it. I intend to see more tomarrow since I was jet lagged when I got
here and slept through today." her elbows prop on the table and the
light twinkles off the blue jewel-toned cross hanging from a slender
silver chain attached to her wrist. She was so used to wearing it that
it doesn't even dawn on her that it it might be seen as odd.

Alexi rubbed his chin as she said that "ahh i see.. well should you
ever wish to see the Vatican i can give you a tour of it myself, you
need only mention me"he chuckled warmly before his attention was
pulled to the cross around her wrist "well.. that is a rather

rosary i do not think i have ever seen one of such quality.. did you
have it made?.." his words even and steady as he spoke

She blinks and looks down at the cross, "No It was given to me when I
was very young by my cousin." she thinks about it and then shrugs a
shoulder, "I might take you up on that once I decide rather you're
trying to swindle a poor hapless tourist or not." the tone was
slightly playful.

Well it turned out he wasn't trying to swindle her and the next couple
of days were really quite nice. Andariel found a unique friend in the
unusual priest. A couple of days before the end of her vacation she
finds herself wandering Rome alone as Alexi was needed inside the
Vatican and Andariel had no interest in spending yet anoher day in the
building.

Ryu walked along the streets of Rome idly, heading towards the Castel
Sant'Angelo as he always does, deep in thought about the events of the
last few days, most good, some expected, some unexpected, and how at
the very least, things are shaping up to be quite interesting for him.
Well, at least he wouldn't be bored, he supposed.

He blinked slightly as an impact interrupted his thoughts and shook
his head, looking down to the person on the ground, smiling
apologetically. "Sorry! I-"He stopped for an instant, blinking in
shock, thrown off, but recovers rapidly and smiles again. "Sorry. I
wasn't paying as much attention as I should've been apparently. My
utmost apologies." He offers her his hand to help her up.

Andariel is looking up at the strange man that had knocked her down
and can't help but giggle softly, "It seems neither of us were paying
close enough attention." She takes the hand and pulls herself up, the
fingers are slightly roughened and it was her bow hand (the one with
the jewel-like cross hanging from her wrist) that she'd reached up
with. She then reaches down and picks up her map. "Arigatou!" she
smiles brightly then blushes lightly, "Gomen nasai... I should have
been watching where I was going, or at least stopped to look at the
map."

her fingers with interest. "It's quite alright. Don't worry about it.

Andariel quickly folds up her map and follows after him, it wasn't
like she could really read the damned thing anyways given that it was
all in Italian. She glances about as they walk trying to fix this
place in her mind. She blinks as she notices guys learing at her and
she instinctively moves closer to this man who was, for now, serving

Andariel is still blushing lightly as they cross the bridge of angels
but she frowns lightly hearing that, "I see. well arigatou for getting
us out of there. I've never been much of a fighter." which for the
most part was true, she had learned to defend herself from Tatsuki but
unless it was against a Hollow she was next to useless in a fight.

Andariel is wandering about when she happens upon a statue so
beautiful that her eyes teared up, it was heartbreaking yet liberating
all at the same time, the face on the statue made her stop and stare,
a few features were different but Andariel herself could have passed
as the model the statue was made from. She couldn't help stepping
closer even though there was a sign warning against touching the
statues and layed her hand gently against it. She couldn't have told
you why she felt the compulsion to do so but it was there and
undeniable.

The waiter blinks but nods heading off to get the teas as Andariel

Ryu released her and slid out of bed softly, placing down a note for
her carefully as he leaves, apologizing for having to leave due to an
urgent matter, and explaining he will see her again soon, if she still
wants to be seen with him.

Andariel wakes slowly noting the chill of the room she kind of
instinctively reached for Ryu.... only to have her fingers come into
contact with the slip of paper instead. Trying not to feel hurt and
used she picks up the paper reading the note. While she did feel a
little better afterwards but she still wished he had woken her before
he left. She climbs from bed and heads languidly towards the shower to
get cleaned up before she got dressed.

Steve Baalo: Alexi grinned and gripped the handle, turning it as he
pulled it open "Andari......" his smile slowly faded as he smelt it in
the air that pungeant odor that could not be confused with another.
the scent of sex...filled the room. his hands fell to his sides and he
clenched his fists, the grip so tight that it draw blood. the liquid
ages so long that it looked black rather then crimson. he..had lost
her.. the only one he had set his eyes on for centuries. And he had
lost her due to his obligations....why. why was it alway like this.

a_different_kinda_mistress: Hearing the masculine voice Andariel turns
off the shower and steps out. She wraps a towel around herself and
pulls the robe on without bothering to tie it closed. she steps out
and seeing Alexi she smiles at him, "I wasn't sure i'd see you again
before i had to return to Tokyo."

Steve Baalo: Alexi looks into her eye lost for a moment before putting
on a smile for her and wiping his hands on his already dark robes to
hide the blood though he didn't notice the droplets that had hit the
floor "well i did promise to show you around.. even if my obligations
did get the better of me" he wanted to do something.. to try and talk
sense into her. to try and make her his to over lap the scent that was
already there but the human part of him that still remained was still
reeling. and his processes were cut in half. "i am sad to see you
leaving so soon though."

a_different_kinda_mistress: She blinks seeing the droplets on the
floor. "Alexi?" her eyes come back up to his face, "That you did. I do
remember telling you i would only be here for Golden Week then I had
to head back for graduation."

Steve Baalo: he nodded slwoly and turned around heading to the balcony
again "i see.. yes.. that i do recall now.. i am sorry to have
disturbed you Andarial, he smiled at her again, "i..if you do return
to the vatican then look me up some time..." he spoke as he continued
to walk closer to the balconey. he felt.. like retreating just running
away and hiding himself.. he had lost. and this was a fight that could
not be so simply refought. he wanted her love and killing her lover
would only give him her hate.

a_different_kinda_mistress: she blinks at his retreating back, "Iwas
just about finished Alexi. But if you go i suppose that is entirely
your choice."

Steve Baalo: he lowers his head and shakes it "tis not my choice...
but i have no place here.. you have already chose your mate..." he
spoke without thought. his eyes blank as droplets of blood fell from
the wounds still open on his hands.

a_different_kinda_mistress: She blinks at him "Alexi! Your hands!" she
moves forward to take one and lift it gently. "What happened?"

Steve Baalo: he continued to look down, his hands covered sligtly by
his black blood, he shook his head at her "nothing happened. i just
gripped them too tightly...."

a_different_kinda_mistress: "Gripped them too tightly?! Alexi you're
bleeding!"

Steve Baalo: Alexi sighed and relaxed his muscles, revealing the
pointed tips to his fingernails. "i gripped too tightly..."

a_different_kinda_mistress: instead of recoiling as he probably
expected her to she steps closer and uses the corner of her towel to
wipe the blood from his palms.

Steve Baalo: he sighed and watched her "as she wiped the blood away
"why.. why do you not recoil away?" he spoke softly before retracting
the claws again, not wanting to end up cutting her by accident.

a_different_kinda_mistress: "why should I recoil?"

Steve Baalo: he shook his head "i am a monster from ages past..." he
sighed and though inwardly 'or rather from ages in the future..'

a_different_kinda_mistress: she arches a brow at him thinking little
of his self depreciating words. "You have yet to tell me why i should
step back from an injured friend."
